I do it in my living room. Its a large living room so i pretend its the Wembley Stage. I stand there in my tight jeans and the broken microphone-stand and pretend i am the king.I can almost hear the crowd( i have a thing with beeing scizophrenic), so i put the volume of my stereo us loud as i can. A Queen cd on it...starts playing. So i do the Freddie-Thing. Imitating all the mooves , the gestures the facial expresions ( i even pretend i have an overbite). And there i am . I feel i am Freddie as i sing along , moslty killing the songs , but still it feels great. Its like a tradition for me for the past 10 years. Since i am 26 y.o. you can imagine i am a bit strange...but dammm IT FEELS SO GOOD!!!! IF you have similar experiences please share! |

Sometimes I love to imitate his "Hello, my dears!" and that sort of thing... |

I used to do it constantly but I toned it down over the past two years. However, I absolutely have to when I watch a DVD. |

In school i once had to be FM for an Irish (Gailge)play. We had to sing (BORHAP) but with our own twist. Bertie Ahern (IrelandsPM) was going to get killed by his stalker(Bono). So Freddie Had to warn him. (but in the end Bertie gets killed and Freddie gets really pissed off with him in heaven) It was great criac. Everyone who saw the play said i looked like Freddie(and sounded like) During the play i knocked over a few desks but i just said ''at least someone's worshiping the ground i walk on'' Very Freddie like don't you think????????????????? |
Munchsack 16.01.2006 12:32 |
I don't think I ever irritated Freddie, having never met him... Oh, imitated. Right. Er, yeah. I paint the nails on my left hand black. And I love doing the Freddie on-stage thing in my room with Queen on the stereo. Brilliant fun. And I often find myself using or adapting Freddie quotes to fit into the conversation. I don't mean just for the hell of it, but sometimes, subconciously, like Mayboy said, I don't notice myself doing it. |

DO I EVER! Haha! Only at home alone with the stereo blasting, i sing at the top of my lungs and pump my fist and do the little leg revving thing he does. But i also imitate the other 3 as well. Like during guitar/drum solos and on heavy bass bits. And ive always said 'dear' etc in sentences, thats pretty Freddie-esque. And i agree, its exhilierating to do so. Definatly recommended for all Queen fans. Although i wonder what Freddie would think seeing me act like a fool performing for no one in the middle of my living room! haha I love it though. |
DeadAndGone 16.01.2006 15:07 |
yeah.. But just in my room when I'm alone at home.... I turn on Queen as loud as I can sing along with Freddie it feels incredible! I've painted my left hands nails in black! Cool :D hah |
Forever88 16.01.2006 15:39 |

Lip syned "Crazy Little thing called love" in front of 3000 people in a arena with "choreography", full Freddie garb (i.e,. "wife beater" vest, tight jeans, painted on mustache, raceing flats, and big aviator glasses for anonymity)....I won a clock. J |

I do imitate Freddie's voice; as he sang in a range which is suitable for female voices as well, it is quite easy for me. But I absolutely cannot reach the low notes, f. ex. Slightly Mad. I also love to "invent" a second voice/part to the first voice of Freddie when I'm singing Queensongs. |

FreeSpirit328 16.01.2006 21:29 |
Well I am a singer, so I really feel great when I sing his songs because I can reach just about every note. Besides that, I daydreamed about going to a karaoke place with the black & white nail polish and some sort of seventies style clothes or something, lol My hair's brown and a bit longer than Freddie's was in the 70's, but I like to pretend I look something like him, lol |
Ozzy Queen 16.01.2006 22:04 |
I do it sometimes. The best would of had to of been when we were setting up for last years christmas concert. We got bored so we started blasting some music out of the stereo. I went and got a microphone stand and of course a microphone and started singing my little heart out. I loved it. |

Imitating Freddie is like mastrubating. We all do it when we're alone, and it is way to ashaming to talk about. |

In this musical I was in we were asked to strike a pose at the beginning and I chose the pose Freddie has on the cover of Queen II..he makes it look so cool but I bet I looked like an idiot lol. |

Has anyone ever worked up an aerobic's routine using Queen music AND Freddie's movements, such as at any of the Queen conventions? |
blerp 18.01.2006 01:20 |
I imitated him at school. If you ever see me rock out like Freddie, I think you should compare it to his moves in the video for Somebody To Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, I just bend and glide everywhere, which is why wearing ballet flats all the time comes very handy. For the school talent show, I really want to lip synch Fight From The Inside, and do some kind of funky dance and have the broken microphone stand, it will be a smasher. |
