Well, I know nothing about n64 roms (I don't even know what they are) but I do know that to unzip a file, you must download a program (such as the one offered at link and extract the files. Its pretty simple. There are tutorials within the program. Hope this helps.
i sold my n64, cant be bothered to buy another one, i only play goldeneye, wwf no mercy and perfect dark, so no point in having one, so i just download the roms

All class games!
Goldeneye...I played that all day. Perfect Dark is another great one as well as that Donkey Kong game I had...
I loved n64!
Me 2!
Donkey Kong 64? God that game is huge...all those characters, bananas and coins and switches. Entertaining game though...CHUNKY!
Perfect Dark is classic...better than any game around at the time. And i think RARE made the best games for the N64, then comes Nintendo.
Legend Of Zelda; OoT and MM, Banjo Kazooie, GoldenEye(classic), Pilotwings, Mario 64, Waverace 64, Body Harvest(wow almost freeroaming!), 1080 Snowboarding and many more. Aaah those were the days...

Man, to think I wasted so much of my youth palying those wretched n64 games when i could have been doing something 'constructive' and 'sociable'. Still, the games matntioned above (and others, like Starfox, ISS, Jetforce Gemini) were fien peices of interactive entertainment, one and all. And multiplayer evenings on Goldeneye and Mario Kart were always a blast (maybe games aren't such an anti-social expereince after all). .
