It used to be a useful website - a database if you wanted to find Queen websites for special interest.
But now it's just a collection of copied information mixed with a sales page where DVDs are sold for ridiculous prices - even pirates of official releases. It's no surprise that collectors and websites, who care about their reputation, are not to be found on this website.
Marcel Ruiter, the owner of the website copied pages and pages from Queenconcerts.com acting like this is his own work but it's just nicked and the well informed Queen fans know who did all the work.
He took some of my Brixton Academy pix I uploaded to QZ and QFC Germany and offers them as "Download". Ususally, I do not care, I enjoy it when stuff is shared all over the net. But credits should be added.
I hate it when people sell bootlegs, and even worse, bootleg DVDs of offically released VHS material.
They should do a B&P instead of selling them. Its a joke.

Okay, he must add credit (however I personally do not really care about credit. I don't put my name big under every Queen film I edit ;-P).
But what does it matter, to us Queen fans wether he sells bootleg DVD's? I mean it's illegal, but not our bussiness!
A new fan who doesn't have a burner, would be delighted to be able to buy shows like Earls Court with a nice DVD cover!
Well done for bringing this to our attention YV, to be honest I hadn't come across the site before but I do use 'Queen Concerts' quiet a bit.
Shame they can't give credit where it's due.
I don't know your website, Dennis and if you have something worth copying. But the complete concert part of Queenfind is copied from Queenconcerts.com and there is not the slightest indication of the source. All pictures on Queenconcerts.com are free for download, there are no watermarks like on other websites. It's a matter of courtesy to credit a source when you use ALL the content.
I am not surprised that this is beyond your understanding.
As to DVD sales - I buy DVDs myself sometimes on ebay for sensible prices. But not for 14 euros and surely not pirate copies of official material.
We had an agreement that he can use info/photos from my site as long as he adds a credit & link to my site on each page that he copies. It worked for a while but then he suddenly deleted all the credits. I'm not paranoid when it comes to some info or a couple of photos - but his whole concertography is a straight copy & paste from my site! I was disgusted so I wrote him several emails, I wrote in his guestbook, I mentioned it on QueenZone - but he couldn't been bothered to reply. Obviously YourValentine/QueenZone have more respect :-)
One thing is for sure - I have lost my respect to him. If I could make him delete what he copied from my site, I would do it.

I understand that about giving Credit. I also said I agreed. And indeed if he copie(d)s parts from queenconcrerts without giving credit to Mr. Scully, I think that's horribly rude. But some people do pay to mutch attention te credit (like with Queen downloads).
About his high prices, it is called free markt, if people stop buying, he'll stop selling. Easy as that.
