I just need some quick info or advice, or anything about my guitar problem. I just got it tuned last week, had to wait a while for it to warm up to play it again, and I noticed something when I played. Every time I pluck a string, or play a chord on the 2nd fret, it makes this really irritating squeaking/screeching noise. I have to press down quite hard, harder than usual, which really isn't necessary.
This is probably not going to be a big problem, but I'm swamped. Does anyone know what's up with it? Or what I'm talking about?
It's an acoustic by the way.

Perhaps you're dealing with fret buzz, although it usually does not make an "irritating squeaking/screeching" noise, but rather an annoying buzz. But either way, it sounds like they should have similar solutions.
I don't know how to maintain acoustic guitars, as I have none, but here are two solutions for an electric guitar (I'm assuming they should be the same, or similar):
1) Raise the action.
2) Loosen the truss rod.
Look down the neck from the head end and see if it is making contact with any of the frets, look also to see if the neck is bowed too much or too little.
Check the strings are sitting correctly and if you still get the noise, take it back to the guy that set it up and ask for advice.
