Are there going to be any changes to the tour from the last two shows last year? When I got tickets the Ticketmaster map showed the stage as the same layout as the Meadowlands show. Now, the Jax seating arena and ticketmaster show only an endstage, so my once front row tickets are now 22 rows back. I just saw Aerosmith there and they had two long catwalks, so I know the change is not because of structural reasons.
It seems as though very few tickets for this show have been sold also, even though there is still time. Could it be a slightly scaled down show because of, at least so far, poor sales? An endstage would be better suited to a small audience. Could the map be wrong? The arena says no (I called them). I should check other venues and see what the stage setup is like there.
I contacted the pre-sale ticket agency, ticketmaster and more importantly, the venue. All say the catwalk has been removed and seats have been sold in the space the catwalk would have otherwise occupied. Checkout the seating for all shows and thy catwalk has been removed.
Bummer.
On Artist Arena's website the catwalk is there on all the seating charts. None of the venue's websites or Ticketmaster have ever pictured the catwalk. This is the official seating chart for Jacksonville: link
You would have hard time looking at a seating chart on the Jacksonville arena's website as the link for the Queen + PR show as it has never worked on their site. link
So what's the deal here...IS there a catwalk or not this time around?
I would assume there is as it was such a plus for both the Band and the Fans. i think Brian enjoys going out to the far end and being "closer" to the seated ( cough) audience. :)

All Artist Arena seating charts did and still do feature a catwalk. There is no reason to believe otherwise. I would not believe anything a venue or ticketmaster tells you. They are clueless.
There were never any tickets available in the center section at the front either on AA or Ticketmaster. So the story of them being sold is simply not true. I have checked AA and Ticketmaster daily for the Jacksonville show. There has never been ANYTHING in this section.

They did the same for NJ and LA. There used the standard venue seating chart. Artist Arena have the official seating charts. Brianmay.com listed these seating charts the day that the dates were announced. The seating charts on Artist Arena were not available at this time.
