Mines Simple enough , not only is it connected to the song Ogre Battle but its also connected to thier live 1975 performance christmas eve at the hammersmith. It is before the song Ogre Battle where he says. Now we're gonna take ya to the battle field .... then the screen goes dark and all the spot lights start shining around and they begin in an uproar the opening to Ogre Battle.
well I don't visit the site too often so I'm not sure if you're the sarcastic type lol, but in this case I highly suspect a degree of sarcasm there lol. lol well let me be naïve and say that it comes from Now I'm Here.
My name is my nickname - much like 'Freddie' was Freddie's nickname before he had it changed.
But then, my name on here isn't intended to be Queen-related. I just wanted to contribute.
Mine quite clearly is not. It used to be Purple Shoes, which is a qoute from the first line of Tenement Funster. Munchsack is not connected to Queen at all.
In no way whatsoever. Lewis Carroll inspired.
It might have been Queen inspired if Freddie had sung, "Now you've got beautifulsoup in the laundry bag."
I was going to say that my nickname isn't connected to Queen, but I realized that actually it *is* connected to Queen in a funny, roundabout kind of way.
It was, I think, somewhere around 1994. I joined a play-by-mail, fantasy roleplaying game and I had to come up with names for six characters in my party. I came up with some grotesque names, with alliterations. Stuff like "Bolbor Bloodbutcher" for a dwarven fighter, "Sargoman Swindler" for a thief, and so on.
There was one magician in that party and I wanted to give him the last name of "Spellweaver", which I got from "Brighton's Rock"'s "I'll weave my spell" as I listened to Live Killers in those days a lot. So, I came up with "Zaigamor Spellweaver".
One year later I got an internet connection, and I chose the nickname "Zaigamor Spellweaver". Later that got shortened to "Zaigamor" and finally to "Zaiga", which leads a lot of people to believe that I'm female (which I'm not, last time I checked).
And there you have it.
