After viewing this DVD via NetFlix, I am glad I saw it, but I wouldn't buy it. For those like me who became fans late (2004), it was a good chronological review of Queen's singles, albums. There were some photos and video clips I had not seen before. The BoRhap clip had a BBC emblem on-screen, and there was an audience, but it was a rawer, less polished version of the song than I have seen before. Guitar players would love this DVD. There is A LOT about Brian's style and sound. John is mentioned a few times, and Roger less than that. I did not know that Crazy Little Thing Called Love was the first Queen song to hit number 1 in the U.S., which is no doubt why Queen's only appearance on Saturday Night Live featured that song. I always wondered why they did such a tame song on that show. One reviewer said that there were only two recorded Queen Songs where Brian did not use the Red Special. CLTCL was one of them. Since this review only goes to 1980, I am presuming there will be another DVD. For those in the U.S. who are not NetFlix members, NetFlix has a 14-day free trial offer. NetFlix is terrific!
