I'm kind of afraid to post this, in case it's already been posted... but... what on earth is this site about?!?!? link |
KillerQueen1429 05.01.2006 20:37 |
lol good question its rather odd if ya ask me |
jcrawford79 05.01.2006 21:16 |
You should look around the site. I have never seen anything so strange. She is the most delusional person I have ever seen. How did you discover that site anyway?? |
jcrawford79 05.01.2006 21:31 |
Apparently it has been discussed before. Just enter "sylv" (the name of the lunatic who wrote the book) in search and it pulls up a few threads. |

The author is probably for real. But they're also probably wrong. I can't be fucked reading the link by the way. |

Poopham, huh?? Pretty funny. Just noticed that your name changed. Such a poop fixation on Queenzone.... |
Lester Burnham 05.01.2006 23:30 |
It's satire. I think everyone should do it, because then the satire becomes funnier. Or maybe I'm a trend-setter. Either way, the comic appeal of it is starting to drop. |

As I said, go for it. If it's just me, then it's not quite as funny; if more people do it, it becomes funnier. |

How did you discover that site anyway??She is delusional, you're absolutely right. Scary, too, I might add. I wish I knew how I found the site - or maybe I don't. I was just browsing and following links from various pages and then there it was - the most absurd take on Queen, Freddie, etc, I'd ever seen. |

I searched under "Innuendoes" but didn't think to search her name. (btw - did anyone have trouble accessing this board last night? I tried to reply here several times but couldn't. Kept getting a strange error page. Just me?) |

This was already discussed before, and is strange! But the morbid side of it is that i really think that she (the author) really believes in what she describes. And we have to guive some credit to her:- She took every song from the Queen and Solo cathalogue and invented a story that can be coherent if you tend to follow her point of view! Saddly, i don't have the capacity to follow her story, but hey, let's ask Peter Jackson if he wants to film the Queen bio based on this book: It would beat "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy easily!! Take care |

It's called schtizophrenia, and a little something called word salad, where words or phrases that have little in common are somehow threaded together to make sense to the writer. No-one else of course can understand this. I doubt it's a joke, just some poor bugger who has gone off his / her meds |

She seems to truly believe all that she's saying - though I can't make sense of it. And yet, she does refer to it all as 'a riddle'. So, is she aware that she's not making sense or isn't she? And should we care? I guess I care because I feel like she's making a mockery of the man and the music. But then, if she really believes it all, I should pass her my sympathy, not my anger. <shrugs> What. Ever. |

I don't know, but read this... link She says something about "Early sex" with a person who is the lead vocalist of the band and has black hair and brown eyes. She's an idiot. |

She's an idiot.I read that yesterday. Absolutely bizarre. I love the question posed to her, there though - "I think with your history, it's very plain that you have some very serious mental problems, you should save all your proceeds from the book and go and see a good doctor. I read the book and it's product of a fantastic imagination. It came across to me that your bad ghost could be your father. Is he the one that raped you?" |
magicalfreddiemercury 06.01.2006 16:23 |
You know, as I read it again (yes, I'm a glutton for punishment) I realize just how much time, thought and energy she must have put into this. I don't know what's more worrisome - her ideas, or that she clearly believes them and thinks others should as well. |

I agree she has put a awful lot of effort into what she believes in! I mean i thought it was a bit strange as well..! And i sat and read most of it out of sheer intersted and disbelief, Who the fuck is lily?? But if it is true what she is saying! - we have a breakthough!!!! hahahahaha X |
magicalfreddiemercury 08.01.2006 10:04 |
Does it upset any of you? I mean what she's implying is simply insane - and insulting to Freddie, don't you think? She even states that she sent 'Queen' the manuscript for this book. Naturally she doesn't say they gave her the go-ahead or any other form of encouragement. Do you think they know about it? I wonder what they think, what the fan club and Freddie's family thinks. Maybe they're used to this kind of nonsense and refuse to waste their time on it. Curious. |

it's a really freaky site, that's for sure. |
MelinaMercury 08.01.2006 13:10 |
on the questions and answers bit of the site the way she speaks its as if she actually knows jackie from the fan club and jim hutton and every other tom dick and harry. It cant be right surely!!! haha I wonder how much money she has made from the book :P haha |
