I recently watched Live In Budapest. I believe that was done in 1986. When it came to the BoRhap "choir" section, the sound was there, but instead of the usual on-stage screen video reenactment, there was a glitzy light show. I am assuming the technology wasn't available in the country ??? What year was the BoRhap video made (1974?), and when/where was it shown on-stage, on-screen for the first time.
I'm feeling particularly certain of this and will go so far as to say that Queen NEVER played the video during one of their shows.
I'm willing to be put in my place, though.
They always left the stage, and let the lights do the talking after the ANATO tour. Before then, it was part of a medley. Where've you been, mate?
That is, until the Q+PR tour....then they put video on the back screen of the stage during this time.
Budapest had some form of technology back in '86. It's just that during BoRhap the rubbing of stone knives and bearskins and rocks got tiresome to those in charge of providing the kinetic energy needed to sustain the video at this precise moment.
I can't believe I'm answering a clown's post. I feel so dirty..........

As far as i'm concern they only used the big screen on two shows: Wembley and Knebworth.
It was not a question if there was technology avaiable or not, but the amount of work to balance the weight of the screen so the stage was secure for the band to perform!
I read that they had to balance the screen with a tank full of water at Knebworth. It took more time to built the stage and prbably it was more expensive... and a little risky for that period of time!
Take care

Perfect response.
My apologies to all Hungarians. Obviously I have no idea when stadium concert, big-screens on stage came about anywhere.
