I love this song but i am confused on who sings it....it sounds like Roger sometimes then there are parts it sounds like Freddie....can anyone please tell me which one sings it or does both of them sing it? Thanks!

"Most of it is done by Roger again. The first verse is sung by Freddie. The hey, hey, hey, hey-parts etc... have got a harmony voice by Roger. In the chorus, Roger multi-tracked his voice (about 4 tracks) and used heavy flanging. The "I feel so" - is done by Freddie again, followed by some harmonies (1 Freddie,2 Rogers), and the "ticulate" is Roger's lead voice. Roger sings the whole second verse (+harmonies). Listen to his great "how I feel" - articulation at 1:43. Till the instrumental break we only hear Roger's voice. After the break there's nothing new. The vocal parts are a stunning demostration of Freddie's and (especially) Roger's great articulation."
I agree with all of the above assessment apart from the second verse being sung by Roger. I originally thought Roger sang it but that was before I became such a huge Roger Taylor fan. There are bits in the second verse that sound way too much like Freddie - "It ain't no, it ain't no, it ain't no surprise" sounds like Freddie to me - listen to how he says "surprise". Roger is certainly present for harmonies and clearly audible in the chorus, but I'm not conviced he's singing the second verse. He doesn't even get a vocal credit on the sleevenotes, which I find odd if he sang lead on the second verse. I think Freddie is lead, Roger is backing.

Yes I love this song too- raw and abrasive. I think the live version is even better and yes I am going to moan about why they dropped as I've done with STL etc. I love the live harmonies between Fred and Roger and his subsequent amp kicking.
I Love the song as well.
I know roger's voice is definatly in the chorus and "Ticulate" is him.
but as far as verses goes, it sounds alot like freddie, im listening to it right now.
Are you sure its rog on the second verse?? When you just listen to it, it sounds like Fred, but when you push the earphones against your ears, you can hear rogers roughness...

I'm getting fed up of that overused quote from that guy's website - it's wrong! I don't know how on earth anyone could mistake Freddie's voice for Roger's, they're not exactly similar! Having heard every Roger-sung Queen song and all seven Roger Taylor/Cross albums, I can tell you that's not his voice, though you really only need to listen to one Roger song to know his voice. Freddie sings the song, Roger does a bit of backing vocals. Period.
Thinking Roger sings the whole song would be bad enough but thinking he sings one verse and not the other makes even less sense- seeing as both verses are clearly the same person's voice! So it's either gotta be both Freddie or both Roger! (thought it IS Freddie, let's clear that up now).
Brian answered this question on his site a while back when a guy wrote in having had an argument with his mate about whether Roger or Freddie sung the song, and Brian gave a typically diplomatic answer along the lines of "Well Freddie sung it, but Roger did some backing vocals, so in a sense you're BOTH right!"
I always thought Freddie sang it. No confusion from me.
On a slightly different note I was listening to Radio Ga-Ga a while back on headphones and was shocked to hear Roger's voice so prominent on the "Ga-Ga" bits. Never noticed it before then. Very strange.

Yeah I've noticed that before, I never noticed it to begin with.
I love his vocals on Ga-Ga, it gives it that extra edge.
I also love when he sings prime jive.
And I thought it was Freddie the whole song except on backing you can hear rogers.
