What would you have as a setlist if you could take all Queen songs they've ever had on any album and make a live show out of them? Here's mine. I decided to make it a 3 cd set of 16 tracks each. Also what kind of other things would your show include (Freddie talking to the audience, vocal improvs, etc): Disc 1: One Vision intro/We Will Rock You Fast/One Vision Party/Khashoggi's Ship (Freddie talks to the audience and thanks us for making Queen one of the best bands of all time. He says we're gonna rock you one more time. It's gonna be bigger and better than ever before) My Melancholy Blues - after which Freddie asks if we're ready to go back in time. Crowd cheers and Freddie says we've got something special for you. Medley: Doing Alright White Queen (As It Began) Jealousy (crowd goes nuts for these three ballads but are now ready to rock) I Want It All Tie Your Mother Down Stone Cold Crazy (Freddie plays to the crowd with a little vocal warmup which leads to...) It's A Hard Life Save Me - after which Freddie says not to kill us but we're going to do some Hot Space stuff, but not to worry because it'll be great Staying Power Put Out The Fire Under Pressure - The crowd goes nuts to see none other than Mr. Bowie himself join Queen onstage Freddie Then asks the crowd if they're doing all right. Are you feeling all right. Me, I feel um... I feel a bit crazy right now.... Crazy Little Thing Called Love Freddie then takes the mic and says we're gonna do something we've never done before. We hope you remember this one Crowd waits in awe as the first few chords are played of... Dead On Time What a great first disc. Crowd was awesome and just couldn't wait for more Disc 2 Love Of My Life Is This The World We Created Freddie says we've got so much material that we are going to do another old fashioned medley for you Medley: Seven Seas Of Rhye Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy You're My Best Friend Flick Of The Wrist Lilly Of The Valley - crowd loves it Now Freddie says he's gonna give the stage over to Brian. Brian thanks the crowd and says he's gonna give us some of his Queen songs. Sail Away Sweet Sister - Freddie of course sings his part in it as well All Dead, All Dead Long Away - Brian concludes the track with a mini guitar solo featuring parts of Brighton Rock Freddie Comes back on to huge cheers. Now we're gonna hit you with some innuendo Freddie says. Innuendo These Are The Days Of Our Lives - at the end the music stops and Freddie starts to tear up a bit. Then he smiles and looks at the crowd and says "I still love you". Crowd gives him a standing ovation Freddie says it's Roger's turn to shine. Roger on the mic thanks the crowd as he makes his way to the drum kit. I'm In Love With My Car Modern Times Rock And Roll Roger teases with the opening to Drowse and then proceeds to give us... Tenement Funster Disc 2 ends with the crowd getting lots of material from the band. Disc 3 Lights come on as Freddie is sitting at the piano. Bohemian Rhapsody Don't Stop Me Now The Miracle Freddie says we're gonna lighten the mood a bit I'm Going Slightly Mad Freddie now says oh hell what are we gonna do next? Crowd laughs. Brian hits the guitar strings and the crowd cheers... It's Late Princes Of The Universe Brian plays the beginning of The Hero then begins to play his guitar part from White Man... Freddie interupts and asks if we're ready to boogy Another One Bites The Dust Freddie stops to have a drink and says he feels like he's in heaven when he's on stage. In fact he feels made in heaven. Crowd cheers as he sits at the piano and plays... Too Much Love Will Kill You Heaven For Everyone I Want To Break Free Radio Ga Ga Freddie says he wished this show could last forever but |

it sounds amazingly long but fantastic, i must say! ...i would pay good money to see something like that..its a shame freddie didn't fancy the idea of doing another concert but his illness must of let him down at that stage. It would of been great to see them perform some of their later songs... but unfortunately leaves this ,only, to the imagination. It sounds fab! |

no chance of you becoming queen guitarist is literally never! like there is no new Queen lead singer, or base player, john retired, no more queen basist and never will be unless he comes back, same story with the lead singer, only he aint comin back so there will never be a queen lead singer anymore, so keep dreaming but it wont ever happen, shit head. |

Here's my (realistic) favourite setlist: WWRY fast TYMD Freddie welcomes the audience and announces the Medley: DOTL KQ GOFLB MOTBQ IILWMC Freddie introduces a slowed down part: White Queen Save Me SYW STL They start rocking again: Mustapha SCC BR (short guitar solo) Dragon Attack FBG Small break, Brian announces the next song: LOML 39 CLTCL DSMN BoRhap They leave the stage for several minutes. First encore: SSOR Liar seguing into a short R 'n' R medley. They leave the stage. Second encore: WWRY WATC GSTQ Time ~130 minutes incl. breaks. They could have done that from 1980 on. |
