Got the t-shirt from WWRY Vegas that is awesome, I had my mom order it the last day they were open, the day before my birthday, so Ive been waiting the whole time to wear it. Its just a plain black t-shirt, on the back where neck is says Queen in red, not too big, but the cool thing is the sleeves, it has these long sleeves attached inside that are flesh tone, kinda like some kinda nylons, with Queen related images all over, basically it looks like youre wearing a black shirt and your arms are covered in Queen tattoos. So it just covers my real ones ;) But it rocks, best damn idea ever, the ONLY thing that stinks about it is that the end of the sleeves curl a bit, they should have put elastic on the end. I love it. I still think my tats are cooler, cuz theyre unique, but these rock. Merry frigging christmas everyone. :)
I got a Jigsaw of Freddie from my Mom.(not exciting, I know.)but,
There is not much anyone in my family could buy me that is of an official new release. I am a bit impulsive, I can't wait untill Christmas to have/listen/watch any official Queen stuff.
Santa failed to bring me, the plane flight tickets to the U.S. & the tickets to any of the Queen 2006 dates though. I must have got a cross, on his naughty & nice list.(& I left him Milk & Cookies!!!)
First of all, Santa was pretty good to those who have posted on this thread. Enjoy them all. I'm especially envious of the Auburn Hills tix. Not the same as Joe Louis Arena, where I saw them in '80 and '82, but better in so many ways.
Stretching things a bit, because of advanced classes, our daughter ended her freshman year at the University of Delaware with a 3.2 GPA. Not bad for our 'Nothing But Blue' Blue Hen. (oy)
Moving on.....always considered the New Jersey concert as an early present (no more envy of all you lucky ones that saw the European tour)...and getting to see old friends and meet new ones before and after the gig. Priceless!!!
Hotel reservations for the March 9th DC concert.
Milton Keynes CD.
ROTC DVD
(Made an edited cassette of the best from the CD for the wife)
Bad Co. CD (to replace an overabused vinyl from years gone by)
Cards and emails from many long-time Queen fans and friends.
Doing the traditional, and listening to 'Thank God It's Christmas' and 'A Winter's Tale' whilst opening presents with my beautiful family.
and
A Frank Kelly Frees career highlight artwork book, 'As He Sees It', with 'The Gulf Between' NOTW monster on the cover and on page 76.
Amazing how friends and family can still come up with band-related items as presents that we don't have.
joe, susan, and the holiday hound+

I got Brian May's first solo album and the 'Best of the Best Air Guitar Albums In The World... Ever!' CD (it has a bit of Queen on it at least). That's all I'm afraid, but I wanted this lovely Queen t-shirt I saw in a magazine. It even had the phone number to order but would they let me have it? No. Typical parents. Mind you they wouldn't let me get Queen sheet music in the book shop either.
I got a camera that I intend to take pictures of Brian and Roger with.. Does that count?
Also got one of them unofficial Queen calendars from da in-laws.
