What Football Team Do You Support
| Fraz 24.12.2005 13:08 |
What Football Team Do You Support? I support Manchester United. My favourite Man Utd player is Ronaldo. I like watching it on televison, going to games, and playing, but when i was playing on an astro turf pitch earlier in the summer i broke my colar bone very unfortunely in a bad way. I broke my colar-bone in 3 places and had a metal plate 'n' nails to hold everything together. So was unlucky so had to give it up for most of the year so that was hard, though now im healed and out of hospital a few days ago after having it removed. I can look forward to playing every week next year and scoring a few more goals. I also enjoy Italian,Spanish, and Scottish Football. |

Lokomotiv Moscow. I'm their supporter since 1990. They won 2 gold medals, 4 silver, 3 bronze (yeah, we have bronze medals in footbal championship), 4 cups, 2 Supercups and played several times in play-off of Champions League. link |

Cambridge United. No-one else, most definitely NOT the England national team. well, I have a soft spot for Real Madrid too... |

Preston North End. The best team in Lancashire if you count the border changes in 1974 so that Liverpool, Man U, Bolton, Man City etc aren't in Lancashire. Better than Blackpoo and Burnley anyway! |

CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC! I support Barca in Spain, Inter in Italy and Scotland, I suppose, but they never win. Except at curling. YAY! And elephant polo. God, we are pathetic. |

Being that I'm Colombia, I'm a fan of America De Cali, but I also support Atletico Nacional, Deportivo Cali, and Once Caldas. As Fairy knows well, if there was one team that I always felt like I belonged to, was Parma AC. I really hope they haven't been sent to the Serie B. |

Stafford Rangers. Very much looking forward to playing Cambridge next season after our promotion. There could be a Cambridge derby for you to look forward too. City's ground is a shithole, been there with Stafford a few times. Last time we lost 1-0 to a goal after about 40 seconds. |

Newton Heath, although these days they're more commonly known as Manchester United. My father used to have some minor shares in the club until the Glazers took over. He was also lucky enough to meet Sir Matt at a home match in the 70s and get his signature. |

Personally I find baseball very slow paced on the first innings, and only gets interesting towards the end. That's why I have probably never watched a baseball game from beginning to end. Hockey is too violent because the NHL is too tolerant of allowing players to beat the shit out of each other, but nevertheless a fast paced and exciting game. I find football extremely boring because it stops every now and it's more than clear that it requires more physical strength than intelligence. Seems like the only one at a football game who seems to use the brains is the coach. It's my opinion, and it's definitely not based on where I came from. |
