Most of the US Queen Shows did not have an opening act. The only two I got to see were The Blasters and Billy Squire. I vote for Billy Squire since they worked together on songs, and Billy knows how to get the audiance juiced up.
Let me know what you think.
And Brian, Rodger, and Paul, if by chance you look at this, and do want an opener, give it some thought.
BIG THANKS!
I agree, no opening act is needed. Squier would be cool though, but alot of ppl would be like "Who is that" Is he even playing gigs anymore? I haven't heard boo from him for years. I know he hates the music industry. I think he learned alot opening for Queen in 82. He did really know how to work the crowd. I saw every time he came to Philly.

Yeah, they really didn't have much of an opening act lineup here in the US, save for Blasters and Squier, who was damn good, might I add (they sold out the Garden 2 nights in a row!)
If you think about it, though, Queen has had a lot of different supporting acts: Thin Lizzy, Styx, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Status Quo, INXS, and even The B-52's (!). And that's not even the half of it!
But Queen + Paul Rodgers don't seem to need an opening act. They're all right as is.
