2006 USA Tour Setlist - A Survey
| rockit22 23.12.2005 04:08 |
Please vote for more early stuff folks ! Keep Yourself Alive, Stone Cold Crazy, Ogre Battle..etc. There are plenty songs that haven't been played live since God knows when... Survey link: link |

Can't see them adding a lot of the "rare" stuff, but maybe some more rockin' tunes such as Now I'm Here and Sheer Heart Attack (say It's Not True sucks). I hope they add It's Late, Somebody To Love and Sleeping On The Sidewalk. |

Nice to see a link here. Feel free to vote in this thread. Your votes will count. Thanks. |

Well, if we're voting for five only, here are mine: Brighton Rock Ogre Battle Stone Cold Crazy It's Late Innuendo |
| Bromo 26.12.2005 16:18 |
It's Late-I'll be happy if this is the only new song added but I'll also like to hear the following... Headlong Now I'm Here One Vision Breakthru Shooting Star Good Lovin Gone Bad (Whatever changes are made I Want it All and the Show Must Go On MUST stay in the set) |
| [ Wybren™ ] 26.12.2005 18:05 |
Hmz I couldn't find my QOL password, I don't post there that often...Anyway Here's my list: 1 - Innuendo 2 - Fire And Water 3 - Breakthru 4 - You Don't Fool Me 5 - Don't Stop Me Now |

The only one of those that would be played in the US would be Fire And Water. DSMN is "too Freddie" of a song, and the later Queen stuff wouldn't be that well known here. Perhaps they'd play Innuendo, since that album went gold in the US, but the other two are definitely out. Personally, I'd like to see anything new - period. I'd like to think they've grown tired of this show and want to change things around a bit. |
| Fone Bone 28.12.2005 17:12 |
1- Innuendo 2- Stone Cold Crazy 3- Killer Queen 4- Somebody To Love 5- Let Me Live Nuff' said ! Read somewhere on this site that Innuendo and KQ HAVE BEEN REHEARSED at some point. Some more info on this chaps ? |
| Calcy 30.12.2005 18:15 |
1. Sail Away Sister (imo best BM vocals on any Queen album - get it in!) 2. Headlong (nice rock feel here!) 3. Dragon Attack 4. Shooting Star 5. Running With The Pack |
| MercuryArts 31.12.2005 12:25 |
Definately, Sail Away. The very best Brian lead vocal song! Sidewalk would be good to, I'd love for Brian to sing that as well, but Paul could handle it. Whatever it take to get it played. Shooting Star would be cool. Probablly the 2nd most popular Bad Co. song in the States behind Bad Co. Silver Blue & Gold, great for an encore! That has Brians style of playing written all over it. I'd like to hear Roger sing Drowse, or Tenement Funster. Done acoustically would be cool. |
| Benn 03.01.2006 12:20 |
Sir GH, re: >DSMN is "too Freddie" of a song Like all original Queen songs are "too Freddie"? It would be a very short set if that was the reasoning behind the track selection. Be My Friend, It's Late, Stone Cold Crazy, The Stealer and Liar would be my additions. |

| deleted user 07.01.2006 14:04 |
I think: 1. Headlong 2. Tenement Funster 3. Heaven For Everyone 4. Shooting Star 5. You're My Best Friend |
| fredrogbrijohn 07.01.2006 18:53 |
I think It's Late would really fit Paul's singing style. I'd love Dragon Attack too but not without John. |
| All I Hear Is Radio Gaga 10.01.2006 21:38 |
I'd like to see Innuendo Now I'm Here Keep Yourself Alive Stone Cold Crazy and as part of Brian's solo Bijou |
| deleted user 12.01.2006 17:35 |
we need keep yourslef alive! aisde form that, i'd like ogre battle, sleeping on the sidewalk tentement funster and now i'm here |
| Zak Royen 12.01.2006 22:26 |
Thanks a lot for your votes -- very much appreciated. I have now collected the answers of 79 people, and I think we need at least 100 to have a chance to be taken seriously. so far, we have: Headlong (24 votes) Now I'm Here (21) It's Late (20) Shooting Star (20) Now I'm Here (18) followed by (in this order): Innuendo, Somebody To Love, Tenement Funster, Breakthru, Sleeping On The Sidewalk , Spread Your Wings and Sail Away Sweet Sister nothing is established for sure at this point, so if you haven't votes yet, here's your chance to influence the list that will be presented to Brian as the fans' 'top 5 request'... or something like that. |
| Zak Royen 13.01.2006 01:45 |
sorry - there was obviously a mistake in the previous message. the temporary top 5 is: Headlong (24 votes) Now I'm Here (21) It's Late (20) Shooting Star (20) Keep Yourself Alive (18) |
| AmeriQueen 13.01.2006 03:10 |
Okay, here goes my realistic dream set at this moment: Beautiful Day mix(as before) Eminem thing Dear Friends(Paul) Now I'm Here Tie Your Mother Down I Want To Break Free Dragon Attack Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Crazy Little Thing Called Love Say It's Not True Someday One Day Love Of My Life Shooting Star It's Late Let There Be Drums Rock It Brighton Rock/Chinese Water Torture(Brian's solo) These Are The Days Of Our Lives Heaven For Everyone White Man The Prophet Song Feel Like Making Love Liar All Right Now Keep Yourself Alive Rock 'n Roll Fantasy I Want It All Bohemian Rhapsody ---------------- Bad Company We Will Rock You Another One Bites The Dust In The Lap Of The Gods Revisited We Are The Champions God Save The Queen Bottom Line: With all the 'what should they play?' polls out there... Why the hell aren't people pushing The Prophet Song like hell??? A) It's a freaking live classic. B) Paul would do very interesting things with it(obviously) C) It's a Brian song, so it should not carry any of that, 'Shouldn't be done without Freddie.' attitude out there. I just hope that whatever they do, that it's in the spirit of experimenting with the set, playing with the catalogue. I hope they have a creative attitude towards the PR songs as well, I just don't know his stuff, besides mostly their hits. |
| dougie 13.01.2006 07:24 |
If the band sticks closely to the Euro set list, I'll be pissed. IMHO almost half of those songs didn't work, particularly the more pop-oriented stuff and the solos. The trick is to find songs that suit Paul's voice. Add: Spread Your Wings It's Late Dragon Attack Satisfaction Guaranteed Now I'm Here Drop: I Want To Break Free I'm In Love With My Car A Kind Of Magic Radio Ga Ga God Save The Queen (Come up with an original idea to close the show!) |
| PieterMC 13.01.2006 07:56 |
dougie wrote: Drop: I Want To Break Free I'm In Love With My Car A Kind Of Magic Radio Ga Ga God Save The Queen (Come up with an original idea to close the show!)I am sure that Break Free and A Kind of Magic will not be in there as they did not play them in NJ or LA. I'm In Love With My Car is one of the highlights of the show. Why would they not close the show with God Save the Queen?? They have done that since 1975, you think they are gonna change now? |
| dougie 13.01.2006 10:24 |
I would LIKE to see them drop "God Save The Queen" and Brian's solo (isn't "Last Horizon" enough of a solo) precisely because they have been doing them for so long. It's never too late to innovate. Heck, I still think it's a cop out to leave the stage during "Bohemian Rhapsody," but I know they are not going to change their ways on that one either. |
| Zak Royen 13.01.2006 14:44 |
AmeriQueen: if you had to stick with only 5 additions to the setlist, what would they be? ;) |
| rogertaylor88 15.01.2006 13:41 |
I think they should play an acoustic version of no one but you. Other songs they should add are healong, it's late, long away (all the song) & princes of the universe or who wants to live forever. |
| Going Back 15.01.2006 15:38 |
early stuff?? we have heard early stuff from early tours, but we haven't got the miracle, innuendo and made in heaven tours so i'd like to hear 89-95 stuff!! oooh i'd love to hear the miracle scandal breakthru was it all worth it headlong i'm going slightly mad innundo(c'mon best song from queen) the hitman let me leave mother love (biran singing) heaven for everyon, too much love will kill you a winters tale ok any of those songs would be very great! :) |
| Ayreon 16.01.2006 03:37 |
Drop most of the Roger songs? I don't think so... In love with my car sounds awesome, Gaga is always good fun. If any tampering whould be done with Roger's songs, they could replace Say it's not true with Tenement Funster....
I'd rather see less Brian songs.
Agree though that I Want to break free doesnt work.

Break Free works but not in USA. In Europe remember what a moment when it was sing partly by the crowd. And Paul gives to it a bluesy style related with the lyrics... |
| Jakobe 17.01.2006 21:17 |
Sail Away Sweet Sister Dragon Attack Silver Blue & Gold The Prophet's Song White Man |

Keep Yourself Alive Stone Cold Crazy Tenement Funster (Roger obviously) Sheer Heart Attack (maybe?) Let Me Entertain You Spread Your Wings I could go on here... |

btw, obviously they won't play IWTBF in the States b/c it was basically their downfall back in '84. Because at the time, half of us (not us, but those who didn't know them well) were so narrow-minded that we didn't even stop to think about why they did the whole drag stint. Instantly think they were gay, we did. Didn't even stop to think of Coronation Street (even though we'd never heard of it). |
| Sherwood Forest 21.01.2006 23:15 |
i just thought of this today, what about Roger surprises us all and ditches SINT and sings Loser in The End |
| Zak Royen 22.01.2006 20:20 |
just received the following message from Brian: "Thank you Nicolas ... I will pass this on to the chaps ! Bri " |

I love that IABD mix, you're right, huge electricity at the Meadowlands...but what about Procession as the intro before Reachin' Out? imho: Procession Reachin' Out Tie Your Mother Down Stone Cold Crazy Shooting Star (or Wishing Well) Fat Bottomed Girls Another One Bites the Dust Bad Company Crazy Little Thing Called Love Seagull Say It's Not True '39 I'm in Love with My Car Let There be Drums Last Horizon Hammer to Fall Can't Get Enough of Your Love Radio Gaga These Are the Days of Our Lives You're My Best Friend (w/video tribute to John) Runnin' With the Pack I Want it All Bohemian Rhapsody Sheer Heart Attack (or Headlong or It's Late or Innuendo) *** The Show Must Go On All Right Now We Will Rock You We Are the Champions Under Pressure maybe, tough vocally, but Burning Sky and Fire & Water also good thoughts. And make sure the dj plays some Aretha Franklin (please!) before the show must go on... |
| kingogre 23.01.2006 08:24 |
Headlong, the hitman and stone cold crazy would be fabulous. Paul would probably do a great job on those songs. bad company should also be added together with one more free song. |
