But...Waters said in ''Word Magazine'' about a month ago that while he is NOT open to a Pink Floyd reunion tour or album,
..still that ...IF..and only IF, another ''worthy'' social cause just like Live 8 were to come about, THEN and only then, would he still..YES..be open to another Pink Floyd Reunion and ..for just such a social cause..he would be open to and happy for another one off reunion performance.
So at least we have that to look forward to.

I think if looks could kill, Waters would be dead now after he placed his arm around Gilmour's shoulder
Before Live8 I used to think that Waters was the biggest self-centered asshole of the two. Now I'm starting to think it's Gilmour.
I got that impression too, Waters is obviously ready to let bygones be bygones.
Still a kick ass set though! I think ive watched that set nearly every day for 5 months!

Eh, I wouldn't go that far to say that Gilmour is a self-centered asshole. There's been a lot of shit between Gilmour and Waters over the years, especially once Floyd started up again in the eighties where they had to have lawyers in every city they played in in case Roger sent his lawyers after the band. It's a very convoluted history, and I'm not surprised that Gilmour doesn't want anything to do with Waters ever again. Plus, Roger sort of went mental in the late seventies and started burning bridges with all of his friends within the band.
While a full Floyd reunion tour would be great, I don't blame Gilmour for not doing it with Waters. Who knows what went on between the two of them? It's like asking your ex-wife, after a lengthy and painful divorce, to get back together temporarily even though you don't feel it within you. I couldn't imagine spending a year on the road with someone I totally abhorred.
Also, HI ARLENE!!!!!
