Then dont shop there |

But he unfortunately did shop there ... The poor service does not surprise me for some reason ... A customer should not have to keep quiet about poor service ... even if the merchant is Queen. |

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with the "Queen Online" shop. I've used them myself in the past and have to say that I've always found their service excellent. I even ordered something from them last week, which arrived inside 3 days. Was the item you ordered actually in stock? Perhaps that might explain the reason for your delay. Or perhaps it's because you live outside of the UK? Just a thought anyway... |
Lord Fickle 21.12.2005 04:38 |
Could it be that your item is being held up in Customs somewhere? I don't know about US customs laws, but here in the UK, if we try to import something over the value of £18 (UK), we get charged import fees and tax, which can also hold up the delivery. |

They sent me Live at the Bowl vinyl and there was a crease in the cover, so I told them and they sent me another for free and I still got the other one. |

I ordered the Let me Live bracelets on November 24th and I haven't received them yet, but it might take longer to ship to Italy. |

I've ordered a few things from them. One was a Hyde Park shirt. I waited and waited. Then I waited some more. I emailed them about it, got a very fast response, an apology, an explanation of what happened, and an assurance that my shirt would soon be arrive. It did. Mistakes happen and items get lost. This customer service problem was handled very well. No complaints from me, and I again ordered something from them last week. Fingers crossed it will get to my friend in time for Christmas. So ... from me anyway, Merry Christmas and thank you to the folks at the QOL shop (I suspect it is one guy.) edit: 12.22.05 The package that I had QOL send to a friend in UK arrived today, wrapped in Queen giftwrap, which ought to be funny if nothing else. He said he'd send me a picture so I can see what "Queen giftwrap" looks like. No complaints from me on this one, I'm sorry others have had problems. |

OK, here is my story: I ordered a BM Red Special Guitar in June this year. They sent me an e-mail about 3 weeks later saying they lost my address. I wrote them the address. Then nothing happened until August... maybe it's a shame but I almost forgot the thing. Then I sent them an e-mail in August. A week later they answered and asked me the order number because they didn't find my order. I sent them the number. Then they sent me an e-mail saying that the guitar was sent by DHL and was probably held up in the customs. Then I asked them to provide some details. They did not answer. After a few weeks I sent them a quite angry e-mail explaining the situation again. Then they wrote me that they didn't know about my order at all and they asked me to prove that I paid the price! Then I sent them their previous e-mails and my bank account documents proving that I ordered the guitar and paid for it months ago. Then they answered my letter (after a few days of course) that the guitar was probably lost somewhere but they would refund my money. Finally I got back my money about 3 weeks ago. Excellent service. |

My mum and dad were at Aberdeen Uni with Nicky Campbell, perhaps they can pull a few strings and get QOL on Watchdog. |

Freya is quietly judging you. 21.12.2005 18:16 |
I've always found the QOL shop really efficient, whenever I've ordered anything it's come in about three days. |

The service is definitely far from excellent. A Czech girl told me she ordered a Queen T-shirt and received a completely different one. After a couple of angry emails she got a replacement, though. |

Try Ebay, its much more efficent |
Penetration_Guru 29.12.2005 15:03 |
I have been banging on about there appalling pricing for years, with particular reference to charity releases (there's no indication that the profit from their inflated prices go to the charity in question), but did use them once - for the WWRY sixpences. In common with others, there was an issue with non-delivery which led to a replacement order having to be sent - this perhaps explains why they're struggling if everything has to be sent twice.... I also discovered that the overpricing even extends to the postage charge. 2 sixpences in a jiffy bag sent first class does not weigh any more than 1 (in terms of stamps required), yet there was an extra charge of £1.50 for the second one. As a result, I continue to buy elsewhere. BHM guitar £350, for example. |

And anyway, weren't you complaining about the SERVICE of QOL, not the charity? |
Fairy 31.12.2005 04:47 |
Well I emailed them, at least they replied right away. They verified my order and guess what? It got lost! Doesn't it happen too often? Anyway they asked me for my contact details once again - they had already done so right after I had placed my order online because they said something had gone wrong with the system. Let's hope for the best! QueenOfWrestling, your reply was kind of weird. I wanted to donate for AIDS, I know many ways I can donate for cancer. You suggested shopping on Ebay, but it doesn't make any sense in my case because I want the money to go to charity. As I understand it, QOL will give the money to AIDS charity. |

PG makes a good point. The pricing on everything IS apalling. |
