Was anybody else at this amazing concert and, before anyone demands this be put in the personal section, it says on Brian's website that Roger was present in the audience.
(i didn't see him but he wos probably seated and I wos rockin away at the front!)
The Foos drummer came out front to sing one song and said just before he began that "this is for my buddy Rog",
Is anyone making a connection here, or do we think it's just coincidence?

oooooooo did you realize at the time he was talking bout roger taylor?
how was da concert?
foo fighters r gd!
:D
The concert was amazing as we managed to squeeze into second row! But even though I didn't find out until today that Roger was even there, (or I would have kept my eyes peeled) I did wonder at the time if he could be talking about our Roger. I knew he has played at a Foo Fighters concert recently but at the time I thought it was more wishful thinking that he was referring to Roger Taylor.
Now though I'm not so sure!
Thanks
Odds are he was talking about our Rog. After all, Taylor Hawkins real name is Oliver, and he's only called Taylor coz he loves Rog.
But what a gig. And does anyone else think they Dave Grohl just gets better and better at the guitar?
Also, what was it Taylor's drum kit said - Captain Mayhem was it?
I just went on Brian's web site.
Go on the main menu for news and Brian has a post from 12/18/2005 that also says that...
... Brian and his daughters and some of his friends attended the Saturday 12/17/2005 Foos' Earl Court show...
...besides Roger attending the Foos' show on Sunday 12/18/2005 as well!
i was at the concert on sat night.amazing show, the loudest thing ive ever heard.anyone that wants to see a great show go and see queen first,if you cant see them i advise you to see foo fighters.amazing.also the light show was out of this world.while i was there i went to logan place as well.you cant see a lot,but its a strange feeling seeing where your idol spent so much of the last years of his life there,a bit hard to explain really.hope some of you know what i mean...gary
Taylor's drum kit said Captain Beyond on it and I agree the concert, lights, sound the whole package was amazing! Hope Roger enjoyed it as much as we did.

CAPTAIN BEYOND! THANK YOU! That's been bugging since Monday morning. I wanted to write it on my bass-drum too!
