I took this from our school library. Its a 1981 article about Queen by Phil Collins and Robert Ellis-----
QUEEN
A spectacular megastar band who burst into popularity in the spring of 74 with a super slick production. 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' Queens unchanged line up has continued to score with an unbroken string of hits throughout the changing fashions in the music scene. They shrewdly took financial management into their own hands early on (though not without a nasty legal fight which they commemorated with 'Death On Two Legs') and are now among the highest paid entertainers around.
Freddie Mercury is cheif Queen, a bold extrovert character on stage, he outrages the more conventional reviewers with his antics. Acutley conspicuous of his protruding front teeth, he hates photographs of himself.
Brian May is the shy guitarist who lives in london, attends many shows and has a serious lively mind.
Roger Taylor, like most drummers is full of energy, always busy with some project, most often with his solo career which at last seems to be rewarding him.
Bassist John Deacon has the brains of Queen and is involved in the organisation required to run a band as popular, and rich as Queen.
With the extraordinarily operatic single 'Bohemian Rhapsody', they became a superstar band around the world and now play celebratory concerts in newer markets such as South America.
