Hello everyone. This special is the same special as spoken in this topic: link Biggest difference is that it is broadcasted now by BBC2 (so there are no (irritating) dutch subtitles) I'm going now also for a higher quality format, so this special is now in DVD quality format. Have a good download and keep on sharing it please. greetings Bokkepoot |

Thanks for this. I watched it this morning but only have a crappy video to record it to. As always I will keep my window open for the next week to share it to as many as possible. |

"X-mas present" for my girlfriend and me was this year: A DVD-recorder !!! It works really great as you can see with this DVD-release. |

Thanks for this too! Is a difference only in subtitles or there's something what is absent in Dutch version? I'm curious about when we'll get offers from bootlegers and some fans about "previously unheard acoustic demo of IILWMC" etc. ;) |
bokkepoot 18.12.2005 05:11 |
As far as I know, it is the same special. Only it has a "normal" ending of the special (this version has credits on the end) I must say....I haven't watched this one complete yet. |
Roger's Beard 18.12.2005 05:17 |
Well, we get Roger strumming his guitar and singing IILWMC, and Brian doing the same with 39 & LOML. Let's hope these appear complete (wishful thinking I know) as extras on the DVD release!! |
Krzysztof 18.12.2005 05:28 |
Thank You for this DVD :) |
RohemianBapsody 18.12.2005 05:41 |
Also Interestingly The production Company at the end is Queen Productions .... So maybe they will release the DVD with information about all the tracks on ANATO ! |

Great rockumentary. I taped, or should I say, DVD-ed it myself last night. This morning I watched it, and it is exactly the same as the "Dutch" version, except for the last two minutes. In the Dutch version, Roger stopped half way a sentence and boom, commercial break, on to the next. This time Roger completes his sentence and the cover of ANATO appears and end credits. I wonder if on the DVD version the Prophet's Song is caputered... |

Thanks for this. Came in late from a concert and missed the first 5 mins (how I convinced myself it started at 12:35 I'll never know). I have to say, though, that I don't think the program was a patch on the others that I've seen in the series. The Pink Floyd, one, was head and shoulders above it. Regardless, thanks for sharing, it's greatly appreciated. |

Thanks! Downloading now. For some reason my video recorder didn't record it... |
Fat Lizzy 18.12.2005 11:58 |
Thanks for this, as I'm one of the people who requested it. I recorded this on tape because I don't have a digital recorder so this saves me quite a lot of time if I had to transfer it myself. Again many thanks can't wait to see it! |

Quickley up...... As you have just got a DVD Recorder.......a tip Shows of not more than 1 hour, record in FINE mode & not SP Mode. FINE will give you the best of video & audio. In SP you get good video & compressed AC3 audio Use SP for stuff 1 to 2 hours in length I Bet your happy though.....lol |
mr_c_ox 18.12.2005 18:14 |
When Pink Floyd released there edition of classic album they had a second disc that had tons of extras and full solo performances of a couple of songs so hopefully i'll soon be able to hear that acoustic version of IILWMC. |

I haven't done it because I wouldn't take the risk to go out of HD space because I have turned the BBC2 program on a few hours before the special was broadcasted. When it was broadcasted, I was asleep. I have turned my DVD-recorder off the following morning. |

The DVD has extra footage with more interviews and David Gilmour demonstrating guitar parts to Breathe, Great Gig and Us and Them. The Queen one I'll have to wait and see. |

Many thanks for sharing Bokkepoot. It's very fine. I've made DVD cover, so I put here a small JPG for you to see it, and if it's worth anything, I put links for bigger JPG version(s) (850 kB) below. I want to point, I did DVD with Classic Album: ANATO and added The Story Of BohRhap (and made DVD menu) for myself. So I add two links here: EDITED (They're out already) Libor |

Thanks very much for this one! It's amazing! :-) |

Thanks for this!! Very irritating they omitted "Prophet's Song" though. I absolutely love that one. Would have been interesting to hear about the recording of the canon section. I think they used the same technique as Bri does during hid guitar solo on "Brighton Rock" and some other tracks and the live solo. 2 echo machines in series, set to only one single reply. I've got a couple of these "Classic Albums" on DVD. Apart from the actual documentary there are always a lot of bonus material as well where they dig a lot deeper into the songs. Perhaps we will see a release in the near future, with "Prophet's Song" included in the bonus material. I will buy that one for sure!! /Adam S |
