Ive been offline for a few day so HI im back.
Well i was reading my paper and a big picture of freddie was on the 3rd page and the article was how about how now Queen are now bigger then the Beetles! Unbeliveable! lol sorry I was just shocked at the discovery!
cheers!
You might want to check your definition of 'bigger than The Beatles'.
Queen have now spent more weeks than The Beatles in the UK single and album charts.
An impressive achievement certainly, but don't forget that Cliff Richard beats Queen with the same criteria, and that as far as global sales and musical and cultural impact go, Queen don't even come close to being 'bigger than The Beatles'.

O M F G, I think I found it!
Quite a scary resembelance, don't you think? It's also on the back of the "Queen" album.
Also, being No. 1 in the singles chart nowadays is nothing special. You only have to sell a couple of dozen records and you've done it.
Unlike when Queen and the Beatles were in there heyday when you had to sell 100's of 1000's to even stand a chance.
Maybes Queen could do an Elvis and re-release all there singles every week.
Seriously... I bet more people in this world could recite the lyrics of a Queen or Beatles song before a verse of the bible.
Well duh, dumbass.
Their songs are broadcast via public radio to hundreds of thousands of people each and and every day, and have been for the last 30 to 40 years.
If someone was reciting bible verses on the radio, behind a tight hip hop beat, then you may have some competition. :)

You didn't have to revert to insults. The point I was making is that once upon the time in the western world, religion generally took over the average person's life like popular media does today. Christianity is becoming a set of ancient ideas in the west, while the media is now the "religion" of the masses. Just like one couldn't escape religion in the middle ages, one cannot escape the media now.

Queen are bigger then the beatles wooooooohooooo!! Im so proud of the guys they rule
No, it didn't say Queen are bigger than the Beatles. The Beatles had a recession in UK chart success during the 70s and 80s because they didn't release anything, so Queen slowly caught up to them. That's all there is to it. Nobody will ever be bigger than The Beatles, and anyone who feels differently is under some kind of delusion. The Beatles changed the world far more than Queen did, but personally, I am indebted to both of them!
