These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Truly showed how sublime, artistic, emotional his playing is and he conveyed every ounce of the meaning that song, its lyrics and Freddie's vocals conveyed, just in the incredible urgency of emotion and the power of his playing.
Brilliant.
Best Sole? As in gituar sole? The sole at the Brixton Academy is my personal favorite.
As for his best song I would have to say Father to Son. The infectious soles and over dubs in that song makes it very easy to get carried away!

But there's so many...
These Are the Days of our lives - v.moving
One Vision
Tie Your Mother Down
Back Chat
bohemian Rhapsody..
...so many :)
To be fair all of the guitar work on Rhapsody was written by Freddie not Brian but still its top rate guitar playing.
Brighton Rock is the ultimate(live of course).
Bo Rhap is quite amazing. Other greats to me are:
We Will Rock You
Dragon Attack
Dead On Time
Save Me
It's Late
Tie Your Mother Down
Gimme The Prize
I Want It All
Tenement Funster
Liar
Killer Queen
Heaven For Everyone
Hijack My Heart
On My Way Up
All of them!
I like the solo in Don't Try So Hard but I don't like the guitar sound he went with. Other than that... brilliant stuff all round from Sir Brian.
I think Somebody To Love and Play The Game are the more challenging ones...and thus more inventive than his others... although honorable mention goes to The Show Must Go On.
Scandal
Invisible Man
Bohemian Rhapsody
These Are the Days of Our Lives
I want it all
Show Must Go On
Radio Ga Ga (Strange choice.... but it fits the song perfectly)
Hammer to Fall
Keep Yourself Alive
Heaven For everyone
Spread Your Wings
Again, i can't choose one
Just You and Me wrote: yeah, i have to put one for save me
That's right, you're my main man. "Save Me" all the way. You can literally feel what the guitar is saying.
(Isn't it ironic how "literal" has become such an apt figurative phrase?)
Brighton Rock on Live Killers
White Queen
Show must go on
Need your loving
I can't live with you
God save the Queen
Heaven for everyone
Made in heaven
The jazz section in Good Company
whoever said Freddie wrote all of the guitar parts of Bo Rap, is wrong.
yeah he wrote the main riff, but not the solo.
watch the story of bohemian rhapsody.
Must say Save me, it's great. Both song and solo.
Then you know, Brighton rock of course, I love Somebody to love-solo, I ewant to break free, One Vision, WWRY, Killer Queen, and yeah... 'bout 100 more
Killer Queen
Bohemian Rhapsody
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Last Horizon
Ressurrection
Back To The Light
Too Much Love Will Kill You (Made In Heaven album)
Made In Heaven
I have Brian's Brighton Rock Solo from 1975. I believe it was from Hammersmith on Christmas Eve. Pretty awesome. It went for about 7-8 minutes by himself and his playing was magnificent!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!

You beat me to this one!
Yes this was the best solo by Brian in my opinion.
"It's A Hard Life" on Live In Rio 1985 was also a great one.
Here are some more understated pieces. I think his solo on My baby Does me is great, like Santana but better. I think Scandal has some great work in that middle section and Ride The Wild Wind has a good, chugging solo.
