SO.
I had been working on my stupid review of literature for science fair all day, which is due on Monday, and I was in a pretty bad mood.
Then the phone rang.
It was one of my best friends, and she sounded in an unusually cheery mood.
"So, Dana? Given the oppurtunity, which band would you most like to see in concert?"
Ummm... Franz Ferdinand?
"Er, no... wrong answer."
Is this a trick question? I don't know, Paul McCartney?
"Getting warmer."
Then it finally clicked- Oh yeah! Queen (+ Paul Rogers)!
"Now, what if I were to tell you that my mom just bought tickets from a co-worker, and has one left over?"
OH MY GOD.
Long story short, I am now going to a Queen (+ Paul Rogers) concert in March.
I didn't actually expect that I'd ever go.
To tell you the truth, it wouldn't even be my first choice of concert.
BUT, given the oppurtunity, I am more than elated to go.
Also, I am in an infinitely better mood right now.
And I'm almost done with my review of literature.
