The "Free In The Park" bootleg LP is something I've been searching for for quite a while now. It's an audience recording of the legendary Hyde Park '76 concert, and the quality is actually really good! It's definitely better than the soundboard recording. The mix is great, and the treble and bass levels are great. But there are apparently a few songs missing, as it's just a single LP. I can't imagine it being much more than 55 minutes long. I own the complete audience recording (not from LP), but the quality is indeed not great. It sounds like a 6th or 7th gen at best, whereas the LP copy seems to be much closer to the master copy.
If anyone has this, or has any idea of how to find a copy either on LP, or one transferred to cd, please post here or email me. I know it can't be that rare, since it was pressed onto LP back in the day. I came across an LP once, but it was yet another a Mexican trader who has disappeared from the planet. That's usually what happens with traders from that country once they say they've sent a package to you. However, I did get a few mp3 samples, and the quality is indeed quite good. I don't know why this LP has gotten such a bad reputation over the years. Right now it's the best audio document of the Hyde Park show.
Any help on this one would be appreciated.
this is quite strange, I got it today, the trader said it is Free In The Park, but it sounds like soundboard and In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited is cut after 37 seconds.
