Your best remix yet! Keep up the good work, Fickle! This is the be all and end all of your brilliance! Brian and Roger would be most proud of you work! :-P
Sorry, the opportunity was there. All in good fun!
You really can't see it? Oh well, that's a shame, because it's such a brilliant mix, and it's done in surround sound! If you stand in the middle of the room, you can hear it all around you!
Fickle I just put on my headphones to hear this again. I LOVE the subtleties you put in there! It's funny how before at 1:40 I would have never expected to hear all that craziness with the Didgeridoo but now it makes perfect sense and really adds to it! And don't get me started on what you did with the bagpipes! Someone email Brian and tell him to listen to this!
I love what you do with those Sgt Pepper horns, and I loved your Sitar/ Bass Solo I mean this isnt a remix this is an innovation. This is so beautiful especially the harmonies of Freddie and Aretha Franklin. The only thing that is wrong with this is that it wasnt posted sooner.
Actually Freddie recorded those extra vocals for me when I bumped into him backstage at Knebworth. I only had a small portable cassette recorder with me, but after some tweaking with Audition, they came out rather well, especially the "Face It Alone" line, don't you think?
The extra guitar parts came from a secret demo Brian recorded back in 1975, which were to be included on the forthcoming 31st (and a half) Anniversary edition of ANATO. He mentioned something about them belonging to an extended Bohemian Rhapsody.... oops, I've said too much....
