Agreed - the lyrics are embarrassingly obvious. They should really drop this one from the current set.
I have to agree with Fenderek and drwinston. The song has absolutely no power, no structured or layered harmonics, no artistic guitar riffs, no energy, and, unfortunately, it has very elementary chord progressions.
There is just no reason to get excited about the song. During a live performance, it puts everyone to sleep. When watching the ROTC dvd at home, everyone in my family skips over it. I don't even get a rise out of watching everyone throw condoms on the stage at the end of the song.
The only redeeming value of the song lies in the message.
Songs with elementary chord progressions...
Great Balls Of Fire
Rock And Roll
Hony Tonk Women
I Want To Break Free
Blue Moon
An elementary chord progression is not a criticism in my world.
Well true about simple chord progression (I love blues man- go and check how many chords they use :) )- but SINO ain't "Rock And Rioll", I can ehear that much :)

The Lyrics are obvious - but so are the lyrics of love of my life, Is this the world we created...In my opinion it's a nice song, roger really sings it great!
I've never really thought of Love of my life's lyrics as obvious, but it's heartfelt, and not trite. The middle portion of LOML is one of the most moving things Freddie ever wrote. How Queen's greatest ballad got lumped in with a song no one will remember after this tour is beyond me.

What's this got to do with the topic?
Anyways i like the song. Roger is so cute in ROTC and it's a laugh when he gets condoms thrown at him hahaha.
really? people throw condoms at him? those people with not education

Music wise it's great.
Roger's song is great.
The emotion is great.
But why do the lyrics have to suck? I mean indeed to obvious! and perhaps even worse the rime! Since when does all rimes on all? ("When we think that we know it all. We know nothing at all.")

lol rhyming a word with itself is nothing new for Roger (Check out "I'm in Love With My Car" when he pairs now and now:
So she made tracks saying this is the end now/
Cars don't talk back they're just four wheeled friends now
As for SINT, I really don't like it for the reasons everyone else has stated. Mainly that the lyrics are too obvious. and it is much too pointed to have any universal or enduring message
