I like skirts. |
doremi 15.11.2005 14:10 |
I am more COMFORTABLE wearing trousers, BUT I think that when I wear skirts, they are much more attractive. Speaking of kilts...no peanut gallery crap...the other day, I actually saw a man, leaving my bank, here in Maryland USA, wearing a kilt with that little purse thing. I have never seen anyone wear a kilt in person. He was very masculine masho looking but I wonder WHY he was wearing a kilt? Was it some sort of Scottish holiday I am not aware of in the last week? |

In my younger, thinner years, I ALWAYS wore mini skirts to concerts, (case I got backstage), with fishnets, or patterned stockings and suede boots. Amazing, I find skirts VERY uncomfortable,ESPECIALLY for work! .... but when I wear (wore) them for fun...they don't bother me and I enjoy wearing them. |

I would have given my left arm to go to an all boys Catholic school. Good fundamental education, good moral environment, dicipline. And no girls around to distract you, which means better focus. There's plently of time for all of that after your studies are complete. Sadly, though, I had to put up with a U.S. public education. |

Sounds like our neighbors in the apartments we used to live in. You think hearing a revival is bad in the neighbor's garage, try just having a thin wall separating you. These people were nuts....total SCREAMING and freaking out. Plus....they had INSTRUMENTS! It wasn't an every night occurance, but when they started up, it usually didn't matter how hard you banged on the wall. They wouldn't stop..:-S |
Mr.Jingles 17.11.2005 12:26 |
Erin, I feel you girl. This whole incedent with the Evangelist neighbors actually happened in Colombia. I used to live in a typical Latin American neighborhood where all the houses were stuck one right next to the other, so we could pretty much hear any significant noise that happened to the other side of the wall. These wackos had instruments as well, and they couldn't even play them well. There were times where a lot of neighbors would gather signatures to ask them to stop making so much noise, and things got to the point where we would end up threatening on suing them. The revivals would become less noisy for a while after they were scared of getting their asses sued, but they would always come back with the noise. After I moved here I heard that one of my neighbors punched the pastor. Damn I wish I was there to see that. |
