It seems he's doing ang feeling everything by Queen and Freddie.. The most recent.. how he phraised roy Thomas baker.. Well he aint the only one.. The singer from finnish band Him, Ville Valo also said sometime ago in the press how he was awed by the fact he had a chance to record piano parts for their newest album in the same studio in wales in the same studio with the same piano Freddie used in Borap.. Its like every famous artist including Robbie, and now Celine and god how many else are living by him, or getting into the same spirit the least. and trying to emulate the same feeling as part of their own experiences..
When Freddie died we (Fans) knew that the BEST SINGER and PERFORMER of all time was gonne.
Now, 14 years later the world is saying that we were right!!
Better late than never...
Take care
As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. About time music artists recognized and appreciated Freddie for the great talent he was...is..will be...forever!
Justin who? The ugly twat from The Darkness? Was there ever any doubt that his head was up Freddie's ass from the start? Thankfully, they only had 2 singles here in North America and then disappeared...not so coincidentally the only 2 songs on their first album not packed with senseless profanity and shite lyrics.
Everyone said they sounded like Queen, but I thought they sounded like Tiny Tim on LSD. When I saw their first video, I thought to myself "This guy looks a donkey's ass with teeth sticking out! How is it he's gotten this far in life without being euthanized out of kindness, or at least being sewn up into a burlap sack and hidden in a bell tower somewhere?"
Anyway, fuckin' yay, he likes Queen. Next thread: "Corey Feldman!!" He likes Queen, and between bouts of drug rehab and trying to rehash his dead acting career, he draws from Freddie's lyrics for inspiration!

Agree with everthing you said. Not really a fan at all of The Darkness and the Tiny Tim on LSD...you nailed it! LOL!
I dont know.. "the fine line between hope and despair" as they said on innuendo.. maybe all the new stars have realized how small this world is eventually to be conquered.. and how less does it require to reach out all the listening audiences nowadays.. when back in queen's glorious times it really took some hard earned work to reach out the listening, record buying audience when there was no satelite tv, no guaranteed success.. even on radio play, the competition between real original tameless audiencess.. But hey.. what else could it be today.. when something real is once founded.. what else is there left to be found....again?
What is there really original in this pitiful humanity and worldness.. Even if the whole world would confess Freddie was the greatest of them all.. so what? what chance is there left for nowone else if you die hard fans occupy all his achievements in a narrow purse of justified succeed..as of ability and chance for any other to try the same.. no wonder they copy the best.. the world is too small.. for other as great bands.. but what is the result? what happends eventually.. even if all the world would acknowledge Queen supremacy, I mean the whole world.. what will result.. no more indigenous music acts?.. nothing new at all.. no more new music... no more outrageous performers.. when they think all theyre doing is copying freddie and queen.. just some thoughts.. to think about..
The saddest thing is that you leave so narrow path for anyone alive to try to be anything original.. and genious.. What if.. Queen's music is the music god? meant for us for good..
Should I ever make it through..in form of music or artism any other way I will live in the same inborn spirit Freddie did and felt was within me since the day first of my life.. since it is something so natural.. and I will never feel like robbing something, since I believe the same spirit is even stronger in me.. but time will tell.. if anyone can break the spell..
