Being absolutely honest, are there any Queen (or related) products you have bought, but which you have not watched or listened to all the way through? I’ll start the confessions by admitting I have never got beyond the first few minutes of; Berjart Ballet For Life Video Brian May/MC Spidey - The Amazing Spiderman Full length CD. It's got to be Made In Heaven - The Films, by the BPI. I saw it in a friend's house the day I bought it (around 1999, I think) and went through it that only time and I'm not doing it again, hehe :). I still can't remember if that couple in the begining of I was born to love you were actually both men but I was kinda shocked to see it at that time, and, to tell you the truth, a little embarrased because I was showing it to my friend, who is not a Queen fan but has some degree of respect for the band. I don't think that video made him respect them more at all, hahaha :). JCW |

GH III Things like Hot Space, AKOM, Mr Bad Guy, and The Miracle were given one spin, and then alternate tracks were placed on my tapes. Hell, I've only given Innuendo one straight listen to because of Delilah. For Freddie's TGP (FM Album), other than the originals, gave about 20 seconds to each of the other rubbish tracks. RT: "Wait, they were big hits! Bigger than your songs!" BM: *begrudgingly* "Fine." JB: "Well boys, I think we have a good compilation here. Thanks for your input!"To be honest that is really f*cking funny! On the topic, Under Pressure w/ David Bowie sounds (in popular local opinion) better than the non-david recordings. I'll admit The Show Must Go On w/ Elton was kinda not as good as it could have been. Barcelona is an anthem in Spain ever since it was played at the olympics. Too Much Love Will Kill You holds a great message that many people here in America could use. Somebody To Love was from the Tribute concert bringin in over 10000000 pounds for HIV. I really have nothing to say about You Dont Fool Me, Heaven For Everyone or Las Parbablas De Amor though I like them all. Driven By You is a great love song in a faster tempo, something very hard to do. Living On My Own was a good attempt at beatboxing which actually worked for Freddie. Let Me Live is another good song because of how well they did the harmonies. The Great Pretender was a popular song by Buck Ram in the 50's, magnificintly redone by Freddie. Another One Bites The Dust w/ Wyclef Jean could have done without so I'll give you that. No One But You was written for the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert also raising more money for HIV. These are the days of our lives is an emotional song most elder people I've talked to love it. Finally THank God Its Christmas is a nice sequel to A Winter's Tale. Thank You For Hearing Me Out |

I never kiss and tell;-) Going back to GH 3, sure there's good stuff on it. It's the crap that prevented a straight listen to. LOMO, and particularly AOBTD have never received more than 30 seconds of my time. Surprised that 'Queen Symphony' never got mentioned in this thread. I can't believe how gullible I (we) were on that one. And the WWRY soundtrack, received as a gift, still collects dust with nary a spin. |

JB: "Boys, let's calm down here. What tracks should we put on?" BM: "'Driven By You'." RT: "That's not a Queen single." BM: "So?" RT: "Fair enough. Can we put on... 'Foreign Sand'? Or 'Surrender'?" BM & JB: "No." RT: "Well why the fuck not?" BM: "Roger, your solo stuff is shit." JD: "It's true, it really is." BM: "That's it. I'm calling Wyclef Jean." JD: "No! I'll be good." JB: "OK, we need to memorialize Freddie. How about we put on there 'Somebody To Love' and 'The Show Must Go On', both not sung by him?" BM: "Genius!" RT: "But you just --" JB: "Actually, Roger, that's not a bad idea." RT: "Ha!" BM: "Fine. If we're putting that on there, let's also put 'Barcelona' on there too." JB: "Very well. Now, what about actual Queen singles?" BM: "'Too Much Love Will Kill You', 'Thank God It's Christmas', 'Las Palabras De Amor', 'No One But You'..." JD: "How about 'Back Chat' or 'Spread Your Wings'." BM: "OK, no. Jim, put 'Another One Bites The Dust' on there. By Wyclef Jean." JD: "No!" BM: "Nothing you can do now, you twat." JB: "How about 'Heaven For Everyone' and 'A Winter's Tale'?" BM: "Nah."
