A Scottish man has made it as the first survivor of HIV! He was tested positive in 2002 and tests in 2003 showed it was completely gone... and he wasn't on any medication.
I'm speechless. Thoughts please.
I saw some proggram on channel 4 about two gay couples going through HIV.
It was so hard to watch them feeling sick and dizzy after taking there medication.
I hope they both be cured and start having safe sex.

Is this documented? And are they sure it just wasn't a false positive?

Seems I was right!!!

I have to laugh at this bc this is what my Dad would say. When we were younger and we'd see my dad make his usual martini(s) when he got home from work...we'd say, "what is that stuff Dad?" He'd say, "oh it's just my medicine." Two years ago next May, my Dad had a heart attack. He had to have quadruple by-pass surgery immediately. The Dr. told us that my Dad's alcohol consumption probably saved his life as alcohol is a blood thinner.
but one worrying thing....for him
he decided that as he got HIV form his infected lover (via a split condom)
that once he had it - they might as well have unprotected sex...so doesn't he now need another test in 6mths? to be absolutely sure
These viruses are so complex that it is a bit early to make any assumpions just yet. He might yet still have the virus in him...who knows? He probably never had it in the first place. Hopefully, for him and all the people he cares about, he will have further tests periodically.
i didnt read the whole thread becaus eim too lazy to but its not a surprise- Magic Johnson survived AIDS, he got treated and it seemed to have gone away, hes fine now. You all prolly know more on the subjecct than me
