I think you should have entitled this "Strike Out." But I guess that doesn't really make much sense, unless you really try to interpret it in such a relevant way. *sigh*
1 percent - What a joke ... It must be nice to have a cushy government job. I cannot believe that Phily caved. I am glad I do not live in Phily. Hope the taxpayers in Phily have fun paying for it.

I'm just glad everything's back to normal. I was tired of not being able to go to the one mall I generally go to, and having to walk a mile into the next town to catch the train (which is twice the price of what it would be to take the trolley and the el) to The Gallery (another mall). Now, granted, my mall-going habits aren't anyone's number-one priority, not even my own, but it'll be nice to head out to Granite Run this weekend ^_^ Need to do some Christmas shopping.
I DO think SEPTA workers are seriously gypping the rest of us, but, eh, I'm just glad everything's back to normal. The Regional Rail has nice seats, though, and everyone was really courteous. The RR workers should get a DEFINITE raise.

I enjoy the Regional Rail as it's the easiest way for me to get to center city, and the employees always seem to be the nicest people I see all day. The price may be high for someone who is used to bus transit. It sure beats driving around town and paying for a parking spot.
Now that the stike is over, it really seems that the union was throwing a hissey fit considering the contrat that they have agreed to.
