Finally got it and I can't even sit and read subtitles. What the heck? 1GB for 30 mins of this??? Sorry, I'm not happy about this. I stopped a lot of downloads for this and there's a lot of swedish without subs. Poor... The initial description was not clear enough. I now come back to a thread with info (after the posting) saying it's swedish without subs. Great... Oh, and it's a docu on BoRhap. Nothing, as far as I could tell, about the 30th anniversary and the last couple of minutes crams in tidbits of things like the tribute concert in 1992 and the new tour with PR. NOTHING about the wwry show at all. All the english interviews are mainly copied from other, BETTER documentaries. Peace, Adam. |

Sorry to have disappointed you, Adam, but this was uploaded because it was requested. I have copied the info from the request post. I cannot understand Swedish either. And if you have stopped a lot of downloads for this, well, just restart them I'd say. The next upload if for you, okay? ;-) |

Hey Fans! The reason we (me mangsu and friend Gunnar Ernblad) did this documentary was that we wanted people in Sweden to know how fantastic Queen were(and still is). Why would Swedish international Television (SvT) translate to english, would be stupid eey!? This was made for a Swedish TV audience. There have been made so many in english by Channel 4 and BBC. So that´s why we wanted the "Swedish touch on it". The storyline is 1. The uniqe thing about Queen (Live Aid, Ga Ga and Deeoo) plus a medley of songs (10 minutes). 2. - Qritics (they didn´t understood Queen in Sweden) - 30th anniversary of ANATO - Bo Rhap (mini story 12 minutes) with famous Swedes, Paul Gambacchini and Peter Freestone. The only thing we borrowed was interviews with Brian and Roger (because we had a deadline, and they were too bizzy doing interviews). 3. Life after Freddie died, the tribute show, the statue in Montreux and the European Tour with Paul Rodgers with "my own" pictures from The Globe in Sthlm and a clip of Bo Rhap from Return of the champions. Talking with people outside the Globe what the thought about Queen without Freddie: mainly they liked they new Queen. "Because they are a fantastic band and the music will live on forever", as one man said outside the Globe in Sthlm. That´s it. So this special was "only intended to be shown in Sweden". Producer and Queen supporter since 1977 Magnus Rouden |
PBB 11.11.2005 13:12 |
Hi Magnus Tak for kommentaren. Thank you very much for the comments. I liked it. I just hope that I eventually will be able to see the BBC version as well. You wrote that It was meant for the Swedish people: Most Queen fans want to see everything about them. :) Per |

I just wanna say as a producer for A boundless Rhapsody, and Fan Club member for 20 years - be thankful that someone has worked their asses of to convince Swedish national Televsion wanna do something. It´s too much "rubish talk" when you don´t understand what the purpose with the Queen special was anyway. The goal was to get people who don´t know that much about Queen to get into them and bye their records again. Sweden has been a terrible market for Queen for a long time, especially the critics who don´t even bother to write anything descent when they are fronpage news everywhere in the world. But here we don´t hardly get a small notice in the papers like Aftonbladet and Expressen - who by the way sacked the Queen+PR tour in the Globe in Stockholm. So please be thankful that the media let us do a 30 minutes show on "OUR" favourite band. Keep yourself alive everybody Magnus |

It is not possible (maybe with Nero to recode it might be) to simply copy the .vob and structure onto cd-r. CD's are read at a 44.1KHz sample rate and DVDs are read at 48KHz. The vob files are likely to be encoded at 48KHz. Like I say, you can try it, you might get lucky if you use a recode program, like Nero. |
