I asked Peter Jones (Freddie's driver) this question over at QOL during a Q and A session.
Q. Did Freddie ever like to watch TV like the rest of us? If so, did he have any favourite programmes?
Peter's answer:
(Laughs) Yeah, Coronation Street. (More laughs) Yes, he was a very keen Coronation Street fan. Coronation Street and the word game Countdown. Yeah, ‘cause he was into all those word games. He used to play Scrabble with a lot of the houseguests, and rarely lost. He used to get very p*ssed off, you know the Countdown Conundrum? Occasionally it just jumps out at you and smacks you in the face the second you see the letters. He used to really get the hump if I saw it before he did, which sometimes happened

I did some research to find out about this damned "Small Wonder" Demetrius keeps talking about. Here's a rundown.
Small Wonder was an American television programme which ran a pitiful four years from 1985 to 1989. It is about a man who creates a female robot and raises it as his daughter. He, his wife, and his son are drawn into endless shananigans to try to keep the secret of the girl's "robotness" from everyone else. The show is infused heavily with bad writing, cheesy humour and the occaisional "awww" moment, like most family-oriented sitcoms of the era.
The only photo ever taken of Freddie watching TV had his "Born To Love You" video playing on the screen. He obviously had great taste in home entertainment!
