do i just go to the doctor and ask for it? do i need to take a parent (im 16).

if i go on the pill, when i go to the doctors. do i need to be examined. because i read some where they examine you and have to put 2fingers inside you and feel your overies.
please help.

I don't know if you need to take a parent with you or not to the OB in the UK. Here, you would have to if you see a private Dr. If you go to a medical clinic, they would be able to test you for STDs without parental consent, but you would not be allowed to be given a prescription for birth control pills without parental permission. You would be given condoms however.
Being that I am a parent, I'm going to give you parental advice :) You should definitely talk with your parent(s) if you are sexually active and need information on birth control. You should be having "safe" sex. Birth control pills are not safe contraception against STDs. Please consider using condoms if you are going to have sex.

There is a MAJOR difference between NEED not and SHOULD not. NEED NOT indicates that there is no NECESSITY.
I wasn't actually rebutting what you had said, just extending it.
