Hi Queen fans,
Although I am 100% intestested in men over women, I just LOVE Freddie, George Michael and a whole lot of other gay guys. In fact, just knowing that they are gay makes me even more interested in them.
In my case, I don't love just any gay guy. He usually has to be very talented as well as have a strong masculine quality about him. I really am not attracted to gay guys who are overly effeminate. Interestingly though, although straight men are totally allowed to love lesbians, if a straight women says that she likes gay men, people think that there must be something "wrong" with her. I am interested in what both gay and straight people have to say about this topic.

Well I know my friends mother dosen't like gays and if she previously liked them then found out they were gay she never listened to their music or stuff again. Which I think is stupid. I have no problem with people who are gay. I mean Freddie Mercury is brilliant and Paul O'Grady. Yay!
i don't care if someone is gay or straight, as long as they have a good personality, and is fun. Alot of my guy friends are gay, and it doesn't bother one bit. It is kind of a waste of a good looking man though ;) I guess I like people for who they are, not for who they sleep with.
I have a lot of Gay and Straight friends. And my gay friends are very loyal to me. And Paul o Grady is funny hehe and buster the dog haha...And freddie is my idol...SO I LOVE GAYS hahaha...And im female and im Straight..
xxx Peace to all XXX

A lot of straight guys like lesbians because there's "no competition" and/or the centrefolds of many dirty magazines have 'lesbians' enthusiastically engange in threesomes with men. It's more gross and pathetic than acceptable. And it's more than okay for a woman to like gay guys. Fag Hags are not a myth!
As a queer guy I gotta say that the likes of Freddie Mercury and Melissa Etheridge and Boy George and KD Lang are some of the greatest, positive gay influences music has to offer (this includes Scissor Sisters).
I just can't get my head round how everyone always has to hate each other. I mean I don't have problems with gays and I'm not racist. It's just so annoying.
I dunno, I guess there must be something about gay fellas that just clicks with us women. I absoultley adore Freddie, I love 'Queer eye for the straight guy' and my favourite person on Coronation Street is Shaun! Maybey it's because they are less threatning and not obsessed about getting in to our pants that makes us love them!

bit of a harsh stereotype there....as a straight male, I am a gentleman....and THE only true QZ gentleman...
whenever i talk to my gay guy friends and they say things like, "nina i'm so sick of being used :(" and "sweetie find me a good boy" i'm just thinking, "hell, i'll grow a penis and go out with you!!"
i like the slightly feminine guys... they're just so adorable :-P
here's a thought for you all to ponder...
If a straight man gives a woman attention, the general feeling expressed here (and in general) is because they "want to get in their pants (underwear)"...
If a woman gives a man attention, then there seems to be nothing wrong with that and she is getting her groove, or whatever :p
As a straight man I believe women should have equal opportunities in this life as men and sexual discrimination should not exist. But why is this sexist double standard still apparent?
It should work both ways, but at the same time both men and women do not approach someone from the opposing gender JUST to have sex, or whatever...
and just to add something to this...my idol is Freddie Mercury.
I totally love gay men. There are many who are very attractive and I totally know where you are coming from. I think that the fact that they are gay doesn't really change things any more than them being in a relationship changes things. Granted it might be more permanent, but I like to be friends with men I like even if I don't get sexual satisfaction from them, it is an added attraction to being friends with them and I find many gay men very attractive, so I love to be around them.
To be quite honest I don't care what people do in bed or do to get luck.
I think the most important thing in live is to be lucky. Wether that is with a guy a girl or perhaps 2 other people, I don't care as long as your luck doesn't have a negative effect on others luck.
