hey, i've been a listener of queen for only two years now but i've filled that time listening to lots of their music, watching dvd's...etc.
anyway i love lmost anything queen but i get frusterated when i'm listening or watching something and it's just not as fresh as it could be to me. does anybody have some helpful advice on how to not get sick of queen. i'm not saying that i'll ever get sick of them but i think you know what i mean.
input would be nice.
thanks. i don't know if my host mother will let me take the fridge space but it'll probably work if i hide them under the carrots.
the top 40 thing is also a great idea.

I agree. It's always a good idea to get away from Queen for a bit and then jump back into it. I once found myself not listening to Queen for a YEAR but it worked because it let me have the motivation to listen to every album in chronological order. And let me tell you, the difference between each album is pretty impressive. It's a huge relief to know that no Queen album sounds exactly alike.
As long as you keep listening to other bands, you will always return to Queen... It´s impossible to get sick of them, but it´s stupid to listen to one band only...
Just in case: Don´t fell in love with one album... listen to them all... and you´ll have some interesting variety...
I just suggest you get into some other bands. Depending on your taste, and assuming you're just into rock music, here is a vast array of material:
Old stuff: Beatles, Supertramp, Eagles, Yes, Genesis, The Who, Led Zeppelin.
Newish stuff: Muse, Dream Theater, The Arcade Fire, My Chemical Romance, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave.

And to think that inspired by you (well, your book) I was trying to become Lebanesse... Shame on you!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, a classic!!! Definitely worth a re-read, and that's where I'm heading now!
Just keep an open mind about all music. You'll find, at times, that you lean toward listening to other music but you will always find your way back to everything that is special to you.

Good idea. But this one is even better.
Get out your grammas country albums and listen to those for a few days. I'm serious! This will have one of two possible effects: 1. It will keep Queen fresh
or
2. You will forget Queen and become obsessed with Billy Ray Ciris.

Hmmmm...I have the perfect solution to your problem, this works.Seriously! Just listen to the music of the following artists and you will never ever get sick of Queen:
Akon
50 Cent
Britney Spears
Justin (what's his name)
Kanye (what's his name)
and include a few other crappy rap artists and BHAM! Problem solved!! :)
Cheers!
