tokyo is on timezone GMT +9.00 so it's 22.00 there and soon concert must be over so what was the setlist? : ) |
Markman38 26.10.2005 09:32 |
Well relax even the europe concerts haven't been finnished before 22.00 o'clock and then you have to get to you house which isn't very easy in Tokyo I know I'm sure they will put a setlist here fast and I think they finnaly played Queen 2 completely :-) |
Going Back 26.10.2005 09:34 |
heh, i cnow that probably setlist is same but i hope... that there will be teo torriatte : D |
Fenderek 26.10.2005 09:35 |
I hope the 2005 recordings from japan will be as good as the ones from 70s ;) |
Jjeroen 26.10.2005 09:52 |
Let's hope they discovered film as well! ;-) |

I think it's sensible to expect : - Teo Torriate instead of 39' - IWBTLY as a first encore (sung by paul) - Innuendo instead of Reaching Out - Danny Miranda performing a A Day At The Races Medley playing the kazoo - Spike's keyboard solo (featuring bits of I'm Going Slightly Mad) And ... sob, the end of the tour is near, all these months expecting surprises in the set...For the next tour maybe ! |

Markman38 26.10.2005 10:13 |
Oh I just got an sms and they played step on me while brian layed down and jamie moses was walking all over him |
putterboy 26.10.2005 10:50 |
They played "Teo Toriatte" & "I was born to love you" for Japanese fun. |

Damn! Well, I hoped and expected a lot before the tour... But THIS one I never expected to hear. And WHAT a pleasant surprise! Bring on the bootlegs, boys!! |
FriedChicken 26.10.2005 13:26 |
I hope this is not a joke someone took over from Queenzone :P did Roger sing and play drums |
Shane Jazz 26.10.2005 13:31 |
This would be, for me at least, the single best surprise of the entire 2005 Tour, beating out the snippet of Long Away amd IILWMC with Rog pounding away on drums and singing. |

Early report of Roger singing "I Was Born To Love You" at Tokyo show tonight. Reportedly, he was quite charming. This is from Brian site |
Scirocco1977 26.10.2005 13:36 |
Some Japanese guy did not know Say it's not true and hence misinterpreted it as I Was Born to Love you! |

Of course ;). But that's certainly something a friend of mine might have done. He stopped listening to Queen since Innuendo and doesn't know these songs... Waiting for a complete list. |
Hankster 26.10.2005 13:47 |
also waiting.. well .. I think they didn't play any new things beside IBTLY and ..I guess Teo Torriate |
Going Back 26.10.2005 14:45 |
i was born to love you was played but does anyone cnow about teo torriatte?? and could someone please post up full setlist. thanks Edited: on brians home it says that teo torriatte was played too |

I wish I could’ve been there...I proposed the idea to my mom on the ride home from the Bowl but she was completely against the idea of me flying to Japan to follow Queen, though. But the setlist change-up sounds great! I can’t wait to hear a recording of Teo Torriatte. |
PieterMC 26.10.2005 15:55 |
Confirmed additions to the set are: I Was Born To Love You Teo Torriate Sakura (I assume during Brians solo) |
Going Back 26.10.2005 15:57 |
i don't think setlist got 3 adds, there must be atleast one song what was removed from setlist (probably two) |
Rompez 26.10.2005 17:14 |
I Was Born To Love You by Roger! Yeahhhhhh......grbbbhhh......(falling under the table) |
Ray D O'Gaga 26.10.2005 19:17 |
I wonder how they performed it. Did Roger drum AND sing, a la "I'm in Love with My Car"? If he sang it at the front of the stage, who played drums? Did they play it with a drum track? Did they completely change the arrangement so that drums weren't included? |

But then again: they dropped Rock n Roll Fantasy which, in my opinion based on the bootlegs, sounded signigicantly better then Bad Company (the song ;-). |

Didnt see if it was mentioned but the 26th show Brain got caught up in the curtain during the first few chords of tie your mohter down. Fell pretty much flat on his face but got up with one of the crew helping to get the curtain away. Other than that it was solid for the most part. I got there early adn was able to buy the goodies I wanted with ease. hat couple scafs and so on. 30 miuntes or so before the show started there was a line for merch that was about 30 meters long. I was glad that I got what I wanted to at first in and out in under 3 minutes. Someone posted about the show being on TV the 27th show actually. yes that is slated to be on fuji television on december 31st. note about I was born to love you and maybe speculoate as to why that was included in Japan. I was born to love you was used in a comerical in Japan a few years back. Beer comerical I think. Asahi beer I think it was dont shoot me if I am wrong on that but I am sure that it was used in the CM. Commin in Japan for songs to be used in that way and for the songs to become popular from teh CM rather than regular radio airplay as is more common in other countries. Anyone have any photos from the 10-26 show? |
boofious 29.10.2005 05:06 |

Radio gaga roger sang and was at the front of the front of the stage on the cat walk for the first half of the song and then went to the drums for the last half. im in love with my car was as he always plays. sing and drums. |
