Do you know anything about that song?Is there a demo of it to find?I think its All Gods People with different lyrics or something... And if you know the lyrics can you share it? I think the atmosphere of that song with AGP arragment would be superb...( blame my imagination)
Song written and recorded (demo) by Freddie during Barcelona sessions (though I think it was planned for Freddie's third solo album as well as other tracks from those 1987/88 sessions which you can find on Freddie's solo box set). Few years later Queen reworked the track and we've got All God's People. That's all that I know.
For all demos, please write to Queen Archive and to the guy who "works" there... He didn't find Freddie's demo or maybe we're not good enough for listening it (or it doesn't exist).
I hope our experts would give you more info...

That was an excellent answer Serry, so no need to put yourself down! I don't think anyone can add anything new to that.
All God's People
Working title: “Africa By Night”. Began life during Freddie’s solo 1987 Barcelona sessions
Freddie Mercury solo Barcelona version - Unreleased:
Album Version - Innuendo: Parlophone CDP 79 5887 2
LP Vinyl 3:55 (Early Fade) - Parlophone PCSD 115
It's not. Not everything's a competition.
Should there be any evidence that 'Africa by Night' was done *for* 'Barcelona', I'll happily stand corrected. FAIK, though, it was never meant for 'Barcelona' but for a solo project which was ultimately discarded because of 'Barcelona', and I think Mike Moran confirmed so (he's in a far better position than John, myself or even the surviving Queen members, to know about this particular issue).
