I have read that they where in the studio togheter. But Michael kicked Freddie out finding him taking cocain on the mixing table. Does anybody know if there is any material from this session?
no jacko didn't kick freddie out, yes freddie was taking coke in jacko's loo out of site, and yes there is material from this session, freddie was too busy with queen to finish the tracks so jacko asked jagger instead,
Yep it's the kind of song I hate hearing from Michael Jackson. He really shoulda just stuck to the kind of stuff he did with Jackson 5. Even Thriller was more fun to listen to than this limp-dick crap.
Do you think this will ever be released ?
And if it was - how would it be recieved by fans.
Personaly I would say NEVER - BUT there are alot of both Jackson and Freddie fans round the world - maybe it could be a small hit ??!!

in the book Freddie Mercury: King of Queen it says that jackson kicked freddie out coz of him takin coke coz he didnt wana b involved with drug users i think
I read in an interview with Freddie (one of the rare ones where he didn't tout the "we're both so busy" line) that the material wasn't finished because on the release and success of Thriller, MJ got so paranoid that someone was going to kill him that he retreated into "his fortress" and wouldn't come out for anything. He and Freddie used to go out clubbing and have a good time, but when Jacko went whacko, that was the end of that.
Sorry to pee on your parades (prepares to be flamed) but having heard both Freddies version and the version with Michael Jackson on vocals I can safely say - Michael sings it with far more precision and emotion than the mighty Freddie. Every line is sang clearly and beautifully with just the right amount of power.

Well glad you are in the MJ camp cuz I cringe when MJ sings his verses. Makes it treacly and sickeningly sappy.
Freddie gives it emotional depth, conviction, both power and grace.

Reminds me of what I read about M.J wanting to go over, record? their music in the bathroom and Freddie thought he was a bit odd. lol
another funny story was freddie and peter freestone in freddie's limo in stitches laughing and taking the piss out of jacko's house on about it being so tacky, lol

Good music has nothing to do with precision, fool! Just because Michael Jackson sings it pitch-perfect... means nothing. In fact it just makes him sound like a MIDI to be honest - a dull and boring voice.
Michael Jackson was more interesting when he did rauccous singing like in Thriller. The song sucked but he was a voice at the height of his power in that.

freddie pitied jacko for squandering his money on tropical animals and then not having even and ashtray for guests... for the awards layng on the ground without even a frame, and the mattresses laying on bare ground to sleep on.
