i'm talking about the tonight shows ! Rod was on the tonight show with Jay Leno sometime last week.. shouldn't brian or roger appear on any of those shows ? it would do them good.
the american media really needs to give this tour the respect and recegnition it deserves !!
I guess americans really know Rodgers better than Queen. That's really true. I've been there and they only know Another One Bites The Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions & We Will Rock You.
Maybe they're holding off on a publicity blitz for when they are going to do a studio album and a bigger North American tour.
As I understand it, Rod Stewart's got another "American Songbook" release just out. Gawd, remember when he used to be dangerous?

Not true.
I hear the following on the radio all the time...
Keep Yourself Alive (Especially lately!)
Play The Game
Killer Queen
The Show Must Go On
Fat Bottomed Girls
Bicycle Race
Somebody To Love
Under Pressure
Body Language
And I've heard Tie Your Mother Down and Need Your Loving Tonight on the radio as well.
If I say "Do you know Paul Rodgers" to someone in my area, they'll say "What's he look like? Where does he work?"... if I say "Do you know Freddie Mercury?", they'll be like "Yeah, he's a good singer." or "He's great. Did you know he died of AIDS?"
I agree with Messenger, Queen is actually a bigger name here than you think.
Sure, people in the US only know a few songs of theirs, but not me. I've got the entire freakin' Queen catalog behind me on this one, and i've listened to many of their albums, all of them good in their own way. Yes, even Hot Space.
But a lot of fans here won't know what the hell Hot Space is. They also won't know what album Bohemian Rhapsody was on, but they'll know it was in Wayne's World. They won't know who wrote We Will Rock You, but they'll sing along with it at the World Series or the Super Bowl.
Simply put, some Americans don't have the brain capacity to absorb the masterpiece that is Queen.
