I was checking eBay this past weekend, and I noticed a slew of these new promo CD's from Queen and Paul Rodgers, called "Live From Italy", which I thought were bootlegs at first, but I found out that these were Hollywood Records pressings.
Can anyone fill me in as to what these were for?
Were they for people who bought something(s) at certain music and DVD retailers like Best Buy or something similar?
It seems that the tracks were previously unreleased (since I can't find these in the 7Digital / QueenOnline downloads store), and for those who don't know the tracklisting, it is:
1) Seagull
2) Fat Bottomed Girls
Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
Maybe there are more ways of getting them, but I at least know that in some Italian music stores it came free with the ROTC cd.
(Like the DVD's in the USA)
They were released by Hollywood Records to independent music shops in the US as a bonus disc for buying ROTC.
The bonus DVD was exclusive to one chain store only (Best Buy).
