The excellent, full version? Forget it! Not after all the crap that came towards 'traders' lately. This has NOTHING to do with MY classiness! Neither is this my OPINION. Someone asked a question and I gave answers based on facts. ONCE AGAIN you read my post with a lot of pre-assumptions! You read in it "hahaha, I have it and I am not going to share it". But that is NOT what I am saying AT ALL!! (The first post wasn't a REQUEST either, by the way! - It was a GENERAL question and I gave a GENERAL answer. You obviously read it as a "who can please upload Houston". AGAIN a pre-assumption.) The fact that a lot of traders are very reluctant in sharing or trading realy rare stuff nowadays is a GENERAL FACT. It's not MY choice, it is not MY will, it's just 'the way of the world'. THAT is what I was trying to say with that sentece. And if all that 'crap' was just backlash from two frustrated traders (assuming you don't see me as one of them)- then why are you still reading/interpreting in their spirit? My intention was to add some 'info' - not to make an 'up-yours-gesture'! I don't know what to say to you to make you more understandable of my words (in this post and others). I think there must be some problems with my figure of speach that you don't understand. Or maybe it's my bad English. Maybe I use the wrong words, I dunno. But please, start yourself with not reading more in a post then the post itsself truly says. Try to read more GENERALLY and less PERSONAL. Fine; from now on I will try to keep my mouth shut whenever people in here talk about rare recordings. |

For those that don't have Houston '77, don't sweat it. The quality is VG. Just be patient and get a good (EX) version of Earls Court '77. The Houston '77 show that leaked is full and the sound is pretty good. Its the same sound as the queenzone audio download of the show. There are pictures put in between the songs even while Freddie is announcing a song. The color has dissappered too. If you watch the clip of "Death on Two Legs" from Champions of the World, the color is not even close. There is color but nowhere near as deep. Maybe somebody can put all the released Houston '77 clips mixed in with the bootleg dvd. |
Seven_Seas_Of_Rhye II 15.10.2005 14:10 |
Thank you all guys! So, the leakage is not good. As I understand it is even just pictures with EX audio that we all have... Does anybody know exactly what this leakage is?! Ah?! |

It isn't the best version around but it is an full version and is absolutly worth watching. The pictures between the songs are not irritating. |

Queen houston dvd is now on ebay. Maybe it's the convention leak? link |
Seven_Seas_Of_Rhye II 23.10.2005 11:17 |
Thank you, Roy & gagabo2 for the link. Thank you for the first answer to my question. So... this is FULL! ...And it's VG video quality. That's fantastic great! Roy, is it "straight"-filming or filmed from the convention screen (like Knebworth)? If it's straight-filming full version with VG video & EX audio - what else can we dream about?!?!?!?! Roy, if you want to, how do you know all this about Houston '77? :-))) WHEN CAN WE EXPECT IT BEING BOOTLEGGED? HERE! |
Seven_Seas_Of_Rhye II 23.10.2005 11:30 |
Again and again, so few fans talk about this, it suggest an idea that it's a fake. Why we don't see many pictures from this filming etc, etc, etc??? |

Rip Van Winkle wrote: Jeroen - I never said or implied that. I neither know nor care about any bad blood regarding traders, but you certainly appeared to spin Jeroen's words quite strongly. His words could quite easily have been read in an entirely different light - as indeed I did. Instead of your "Let them eat cake" spin, I took it as "The good things in life are worth waiting for and sometimes you have to wait" whether it be for an official release or to find someone with a good copy who will share. The comments about the "excellent full version" seem to me to be saying that its unlikely to surface from traders due to whatever crap happened. He never said or implied that he had it and wasnt trading or had any kind of comment or implication about leeches that I saw. Oh well... each to their own. What is it they say about the truth? There are three versions, yours, mine and the truth. Steve |
