I have recently purchased a couple of double CD's and was wondering if these are legitimate CDs or bootlegs.
The first is a double CD called Greatest Hits Queen Rocks, featuring a cardboard cover with the original Rocks Logo on it.
The 2 Discs are extremely odd as they dont resemble any other albums.
They are basically 2 compilations, with badly spelt titles.
e.g
Headilong
7las Palabras De Amor
Who Whats to Live Forever
These are the Days of Out Live
The Inviseble Man
The Second CD 2 CD is We Will Rock You Best Hits SEALD 36tks
They are in shrink wrapping with holgrams on, with (p) & (c) given to Universal Music Ltd
the website is www.hazi gz.com.hk which isnt a proper address that i can find.
Discs are factory pressed gold cds - labelled HDCD, DTS, DSD + Direct SBM although im not sure this is really true !!!
Does anybody have any info on these compilations - i am interested to know if i stick them in the official part of my collection, or the bootlegs part.
The good news is thast these cost me only pennies so i dont care either way.
They sound excellent quality.
They can often be seen on Ebay too.
Sounds like an Asian (Hong Kong?) pirated CD to me...
No Queen CDs have ever been released in HDCD format, nor DSD (which is actually the sound format used on Sony's Super Audio CD format!), nor DTS (that's saved for DVD's), and I don't even know what Direct SBM means! (Sub Bass Management?)
Can you provide scans or links to where I (or we) can see pictures of these CD's?
