Rumour has it...
...I love that saying and how it means fuck all. He's just got his own show and he's leaving to do that, basically.
Althoug he always was a little bit too Hollywood for me, with his diamond earings and snake skin shoes. And David Wells is much better anyway.
I'll be watching though.
Any of you see the episode a year or two ago where they went to a brewery? And Stuart/Stewart went of by himself and the barrel came rolling up towards him? Some of the scariest shit I've ever seen.
I live in the second most haunted place in the US and the 13th most haunted place in the world :O. It's because of the college town and the insane asylum we have (aka The Ridges). Look it up sometime, it's really creepy.
oh yes, roll on halloween :) im a big fan of derek,
anyone watch dead-famous the new show on sunday night 9pm, they try and contact the famous, last week was frank sinatra at his lakeside hotel/casino he owned, and it was pretty scarey stuff.
this sunday there trying for marilyn monroe. the guy who's the medium is not as good as derek,
I cannot get enough of Most Haunted.
I tell you though, I cannot stand that hardcore skeptic bloke they get on the sofa for the live ones. He does my head in. It's almost like it is right for him to say it is not a ghost, but wrong for them to say it is. And you can tell he knows everyone hates him.
'Stuff and nonsense' and 'Tommyrot' are two expressions that spring to mind whenever I've watched this drivel.
I live in a building that dates back to the 17th century and the only thing that goes bump in the night is my headboard whenever I bring home a lucky mount.
...and the only 'orbs' you see bouncing about are my own.
Darren McGown...
...I'm really sorry, but is there any chance you couldn't use a capital letter for the start of everyword lol, it's really bugging me.
I'm so sorry, I was going to see if I could last without asking, but I couldn't.
Thanks for starting a Most Haunted topic though, every cloud has a silver lining I guess.
I used to watch this show every week it was on, right from the first series. Plus the live shows. But then it just got boring. Extending shows to an hour was the beginning of the end for me. And the number of live shows a year also took away their appeal. I used to think Derek Acorah was really cool for the programme too. But after a while of people cheering him on and patting him on the back, I felt he changed and got too big for his boots.
Glad that he's going cause he was definitely loosing any appeal he once had. Hope things get better for the show now as, it's been pretty bog-standard the last few times I sat and watched it. Though, I have liked the US based shows as it was a breath of fresh air.
Since I'm sure it'll stick to its 1 hour format, I think they need to combine more than one location into a single programme. I believe it would freshen things by giving the viewer more to watch than just one single location. When the show was 30mins long it packed in one location and it was hugely interesting and entertaining. They re-edited their first series shows that were originally 30mins and made them each 1 hour long and they lost those wonderous qualities. Am I the only one who feels this way? Probably am....
Peace,
Adam.
