Roger Daultry is producing a docu-movie about The Who and Mike Myers is going to play Keith Moon.
Maybe Brian or Roger could learn something and do a docu movie about Queen.
Actually Myers seems like perfect casting for Moon.
As for a Queen docu-drama, what ever casting Director would be involved with such a potential project, would certainly have their hands full, trying to properly cast our 4 Musketeers!
I don't think Brian would be up for a QUEEN project in the same vein?
Actually, they talk about that very idea in "Queen for an Hour". It's pretty funny to hear Freddie talk about it.
Plus - what would you make it about? I mean - which part of their career? It's pretty obvious that most filmmakers would probably make a fair chunk of the movie about the AIDS bit.
As for Mike Myers/Keith Moon.... haha, that's funny. I'd be interested to see how that'd turn out.
I havnt seen that documentary. What did Freddie say about a film.
As far as a movie it would be a great story to see how they originally came together and how they became popular with all the management problems,Freddie being gay, live aid,and then of course his death. It would be a great movie.

Months ago, I remember reading where Nicolas Cage talked with Roger (who is co-producing the movie) about playing Pete in the movie. Haven't heard anything about it since, though.
" I havnt seen that documentary. What did Freddie say about a film."
It was actually a radio interview for the BBC I think. In 1989.
Basically the interviewer asks if the band would ever consider making a movie about themselves, either starring actors or the actuall Queen members. They speculate if it would work using the real people because they 'aged so well'.
Good stuff. It's been uploaded once or twice in the Sharing the Music section.
