Does anyone know how Freddie always stayed so fit, he was almost anorexic in one picture. And does anyone know where I can find something like Freddie is wearing on his hand in this picture link
Thanks
From Peter Jones' interview:
"Q: Did Freddie ever do any exercise, apart from the obvious?
A: He’d really never walk anywhere! We did weights, bench presses… Joe Fannelli made up an old bench in Garden Lodge… which collapsed! (laughs). Arm weights and dumb bells which we’d take from country to country. I suppose it was me that got him started into a keep-fit regime. I used to sod-off to a local gym, and one night he was curious as to what I was doing so I dragged him along. Once he started noticing that it was working, and he was developing muscles, you couldn’t hold him back."
P.S. Roger went to gym very often as I know.
He was thin, or at least in good shape his entire career I think except for some pictures I saw of him during "The Works" tour around '84. He actually had just couple extra pounds at the time, or I am I mistaken?
Well thanks all you people. I love Freddie's arms and I really want my arms to be like his but I'm not exactly skinny so I have to....excersise, eyew!!!

At Hot Topic I saw some cool arm bands similar to that.
Only they were black and made of cloth.
Sorry if I'm of no help.

You're a lot of help, seriously. Thank you, I shall check it out.

I read that in the early days of their career, the stall in kensington period, - I'm not sure if mary said that, surely it couldn't have been freddie - they scarcely had money enough to eat.
A good explanation for his silhouette.

That's it in a nutshell - starvation. If you've seen the pics of him in Ealing college in '68, he's full-bodied and very healthy-looking, since he was obviously still living with his parents.
The hungry years ('69 - '73') saw him lose many pounds.
He did fill out a bit again when the money started coming in, but his love of champagne and such may have kept him down to size, not that he'd have gotten fat anyway.
This is what roger said in a recent interview, when he tells about his being freddie's flatmate:
WE USED TO WAIT FOR A WEEKLY HAMPER FROM HIS (FREDDIE'S) MOTHER - AND THEN I USED TO EAT AS MUCH OF IT AS I COULD.
Now we know it was rog's fault.
