Is that queens spread your wings
Umm no. After hearing him murder We Will Rock You at Live 8, it would have been a disaster. It would have been the Robbie Williams ego tour. Thank god it never worked out.
I have been looking forward to this album but have not yet heard any tracks.
NME says some of the tracks are reggae sounding, but they totally trashed his album (then NME totally trashes Queen and everyboy but the Libertines and Bloc party.)
Anyone heard any of it?
I really have learned to like Robbie and his music alot.
Just wondering what the quality of the somgwriting will be without his longtome co-writing song writer and collaborator Guy Chambers..who get this...I hear Chambers is penning the first song for the newly fronted INXS.

So he moved from one joke to another. Why does a "rock" band need an external person to help them write songs?
I know. I thought of that.
But...this is the day of the record industry demanding ''the must have a top 40 radio friendly hit machine''.
Aerosmith..of all great rock bands...had aor Celine Dion tunesmith, Diane Warren pen their song for the film, ''Armegeadon''.
Warren and another schlockmeister, Richard Marx, pen songs for alot of big classic rock bands now, because their labels demand they have a radio friendly top 40 hit.
I have heard that some classic rocks bands are walking out on their labels because these bands have been rocking and writing their own songs for decades...but the changed recording industry and its excutives, try to homogenize their sound and give them shit.

It would be great!
If it had been Queen + Robbie, he'd have been the next Darryl 'Dimebag' for sure! And I wouldn't mind!

LMFAO!
But you better watch out, cuz, Dimebag is gonna come back to haunt you...(oh well, guess he doesn't need to take ghostly form to haunt you, all you have to do is listen to his music! taht will scare the bejesus out of you!)

Here's some info about the album, but no release date for Italy. link
I read in Billboard.com about a month ago, that he has pretty much decided NOT to release it at all in the USA, because while he sells multi-millions of records in Europe, he still can't push a record in the States, which means if I want to buy the album, I would have to hope that I can find a legal import at some place like Tower Records.

Imho the song is shit. As was "Radio"
My fng computer doen't have real player and won't allow me to download it. Only has windowsmedia.
I want to see if it's Shit or not!!!!
The review on there sure is scathing and NME says the whole album is utter shit.
Please Robbie...just when I ''discovered'' you, and learned to like your oleder music, don't turn to SHITE on me now!!!!!!!!!
Might I add, am I the only one who has noticed that Blobbie's hairline is receding. he's only like 32, 34. he's going all David Lee Roth on me!

My encapsulated review..sort of.
1) What the HELL was he smoking, snorting, on?
2) What's with that freaky toddler? Reminds me of the wacho/psycho toddler with the digitally enhanced mouth in the Quiznos Sub TV commercials, (people in the USA should know what I mean by thta!)
3) This seems like a warped attempt to combine the wierdest and worst of Surrealism, Salvador Dali, the ''experimental/surrealist'' bizarro world short ''The Andulucian Dog'' with Alice In Wonderland's trippiness and The Jefferson Airplane's ''White Rabbit.'' And like the words to ''White Rabbit'', I think Robbie took ALL the pills when filming and recording this.
2 words my friends. SHITE and WHACK!!!!
Oh..and he Still looks like he's going Balder.
He's now combing what hair he has left, over, like Fred Astaire used to do!
