The diffrent tunes going over, actualy sounds like just one prolanged tune and you misses the details of the diffrent voices (sure for the interacting voices in the prophet song) |

Its a cracking album that could hold its own against some of the drivel that out today. Im sure they're re-releasing it for the anniversary. |

s.m. wrote: all except good companyI can't believe so many people don't like Good Company. If there is one song that exemplifies the sheer genius of one Brian May, it is this one. Never before or since has there been another guitar orchestra created to sound more beautiful and genuine as this one. But I guess since it's not a pop song, many people still won't like it, anyway. |

39 DEATH ON TWO LEGS BO RHAP LOVE OF MY LIFE GODD COMPANY...when I'm nuts |
Killerfan 29.09.2005 10:00 |
Personally I think that "Good Company" is one of those type of songs that make Queen, the incredibly diverse band that they are. It's also a pretty thoughtful song.Lyrically quite clever as well."Good Company" along with "Seaside Rendevous" and "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" are the type of diverse songs that make ANATO the classic that it is. |
My Melancholy Blues 29.09.2005 12:06 |
ANATO is very special to me. Whenever I listen to it, I always go through from the start to the very end without stopping. Anyway, I usually enjoy its song order and I think it important as well. I love almost all of the numbers, but my special favorites are: Bo Rhap Death On Two Legs Love Of My Life '39 Prophet's Song Seaside Randevous |

Killerfan wrote: ."Good Company" along with "Seaside Rendevous" and "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" are the type of diverse songs that make ANATO the classic that it is.PRECISELY! If it contained only songs like "I'm In Love With My Car" or "You're My Best friend" it wouldn't be a classic! What makes it special is the incredible range of styles and emotions on one album. I agree with your comment totally! Anybody find me any other rock group playing vaudeville... |

Well put Sir GH. Good Company is one of the greatest moments in the history of recorded guitar. The term genius is often thrown around loosely, but this track truly is the work of a visionary. A little known treaure for most people. |
