It seems like some mock up religious person is spreading the word over QOL asking politely to the fans to stop listening to the band because of all their homosexual references or something like that. The first post made me laugh and now the topic is 9 pages long. It seems like "I'm in love with my car" is about materialism and "Delilah" about bestialism. Some of the responses are kinda funny, hehe :). link
I wish I wasn't going to hell for listening to Queen but, too bad I can't be saved... :S
See ya,

This is the problem with most religious fanatics. Instead of worrying about themselves, they're too concerned about what music people listen to, what movies we shouldn't watch (some folks go on about Rocky Horror Picture Show) and what we should be doing behind closed doors. I say that that person, along with the rest of them, should go jump off a cliff and make sure to hit every jagged rock or tree in their path.
Funny you should mention Rocky Horror...I know quite a lot about it. Anyway narrow-mindedness is always going to be around, there will always be sad little people around who have no faith in themselves so they find "religion" which is good in some ways except when trying to "convert" others to their way of thinking. That's when it is more like fascism and less like a tolerant "religion".
I do believe in a higher power myself but not in any one religion besides tolerance should be a given for the people in general. Yes we all have our prejudices and we all prejudge only because we come from all walks of life. But if one can learn tolerance in others despite this, it would make for a much happier and better world.
Cheers,
David
Here's a great book on Rocky Horror...ahem link
You know what, I'm not saying because you lot are a bunch of bitchy tarts!
LOL!
Anyway, I like to see what you all have to say from time to time and its been a real education I must say, besides I know I'm not the only one who pops in from time to time.
Keep guessing who else, makes life interesting doesn't it?
LOL!
Bye for now.
book me a place in the lake of fire too
esp if heaven is full of people spouting nonsense like that bloke
that would be alifetime of tedium
p.s in my opinion there is no god, the grave is the end..... sadly

I literally just read that last week. Terrific book. And I was delighted to see Freddie Mercury's name throughout. Very educational to learn what Peter Straker did besides hang out with Freddie - lol
Yeah I loved the book too! David Evans is a great writer...he used to work for John Reid and knew Elton John (some say he still does!).
That's how Freddie met David Evans.

Lol! Does that person actually believe they´ll make any of us stop liking Queen? :P
If they can believe we're gonna go to hell for listening to Queen...
...why can't we believe we wont? Religion doesn't bother me, it's just tossers who think it is their mission to convert.
