I'm pretty sure that Stevie Nicks speaks directly to me through some of her songs.
I'd like to do something to let her know I get the message, but I'm not famous. It has to be something subtle.. the same way she speaks to me.
Any suggestions?

set fire to your house...she'll get the subtle 'Room's On Fire' message you cleverly hid in your actions ;-)
Fleetwood Mac was the most boring live act I've ever seen. Now I'm not saying that they totally sucked, but Stevie Nicks's voice was OK, and Lindsey Buckingham plays great as always. Although their songs sound good on the radio on stage they are a big yawn.
Not to sort of hijack the frivolity of this thread...
...but.. My super cool Welsh Witch Stevie Nicks made the news today for performing for wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center and tomorrow morning, Wednesday Sep. 28, on the USA's morning NBC ''Today Show'' she will perform a special LIVE, ''Concert For Humanity'' to help out I think for victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
...Now....As You Were....argue once more or as Linda Richmond said...Talk amongst yourselves...
....Just like the white winged dove.....OOOOH OOOOH OOOOH! On the edge of Seventeen!
There's been a lot of rumors over the years saying that Stevie Nicks is a witch.
I believe this might be true, becuase apparently once Stevie casted this spell to turn herself into a goat, which went wrong and the only part of herself that turned into a goat were her vocal chords.

Yeah and ya'll better watch out now. I'm gonna tell her.. somehow.. the way you bastards spoke of her.
Even you, Lisser *sigh*
I may just leave the forum over this. I can't play amongst people who don't like Stevie.
I actually like Stevie Nick's voice. I'm quite fond of some Fleetwood Mac songs as well as 'Edge Of Seventeen' but I can't stand 'Landslide' because it's such a lame ass song.
I know Stevie Nicks might sound like a goat, but nevertheless her voice is distinctive and she's one of very few signers who have a voice they call their own. Her voice is a bit bizarre, but yet powerful and she knows how to use it well.
Even if you don't like Stevie Nick's voice, you gotta admit Fleetwood Mac would be nothing without her. Imagine Christie McVie singing all those songs? The woman can't carry a fuckin' tune even if her life depended on it.
Haha! I see your weak attempt at backing down now that you know she'll unleash her belladonnic powers on your jingly ass! It ain't gonna work! Too late! Face your fate!

Arlene approaches the little toad, once a handsome prince still named Mr. Jingles...
...XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey! What happened, now I'm a toad! It's supposed to be the other way around. You should have turned into your former self. DAMN you Jingles! LOL!
Anyways...the thing is, I don't like Fleetwood mac, never did. I don't even like the majority of songs Stevie sang, UGH, Dreams, Goldust Woman, Landslide. Just not a fan of the MAc. (Though I do LOVE Sara.)
BUT....I love Stevie's SOLO....songwriting, vocals, and musicianship (she plays guitar, piano, harpsichord, etc.)
And I love ALL of her solo work/albums.
Edge Of Seventeen, Gold and Braid, Leather and Lace, Stop Dragging My Heart Around, After The Glitter Fades, etc.
Also, I love her duet with Kenny Loggins which I have from his ''Nightwatch'' album, their hit, ''Whenever I Call You Friend''.
